Markus: Prince of Mages

Markus Valerion is the second born prince of the Kingdom of Cyrus, to which he is adamant about not being called a prince. In his mind, he is a mage first, monster hunter second, and a prince at dead last. But when strange things begin to appear, swirling clouds of black sand, mysterious archways powering up, it is up to him, his two brothers, Roland and Grant, and a fellow huntress, Sylvani, to find anyway they can to stop an oncoming war, and defeat the dreaded King of Mages.
