Description
Born from a precarious relationship between a Drow and his prize, Serena Lash struggles to find her place, and herself, as she fights to persevere through the hardships life throws her way.
A story born from a D&D game I am currently a part of. The narrative will follow the events of the campaign as closely as possible, with some events having been tweaked to better fit into a written story. A slow burn, the narrative does skip around a bit due to the nature of the campaign, considering that not everything in the game needs to be written about. This will begin to peter out the further the story progresses, but for the first parts, expect a bit of skipping!

- BankruptGreekRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I'm quite surprised this book doesn't have any reviews because it feels like a bit of a hidden gem to me. I don't really know much how about D&D but the story is interesting to follow and the writing feels steps above other novels.
The characters are well thought out, with real emotions at play that you can emphasise with which is very well done.
The grammar is very good, no issues so far and the story telling is engaging, detailed settings and descriptions, including the fights, really well done and keeps me drawn it.
The story seems interesting, I think my only gripe is that I'm not sure of the direction of the novel. It feels a bit random and at parts slow paced, for example the Waterdeep arc feels like it drags a bit in some areas.
However I'm still interested in the future of the story and characters, they all show a lot of growth and I think there's a lot of potential. Thanks for writing.
