Just wanted to say I loved this story and hope to see more of it. It does a great job of bridging the gap between two different mindsets well still telling a compelling story. Keep writing ( both in general and this story ) as you clearly have a talent for it.

Super glad that I was recommended this story from a discord and it's nice seeing you there as well. You seem like a great dude and take your reviews there well (though all have been positive so far of course).
Anyway for those looking to potentially read this fic I cannot recommend it highly enough, it's a real diamond in the rough and I'm so glad someone found it to spread the recommendation to us. Keithwasabi seems to particularly excel at his character building and even by chapter 3.1 where I'm at he has managed to work in well defined main characters with their own motives who become unexpected allies and even friends. His building of their relationship also felt like it was just the right speed and had a couple specific moments to influence it nicely.
As for the idea of this fic, while I'm sure others have done similar before, I doubt any have been done as well as this one. When he uses tropes or well used ideas he uses them well, but I often found myself surprised because he's careful not to overuse the more predictable tropes and ideas. This keeps it from becoming the overly predictable sequence of tropes and used ideas that I often see with stories. While they are tropes for a reason and well loved, it is a nice change of pace for me to get surprised every once in a while and see something a bit more unique.
Anyway for all new potential readers: Welcome! I hope that you enjoy your ride with this story as it has been great so far and I'm sure that it will continue to be great in the future.

So, the start of this story is quick but soft.  This sweet Buneary have any sort of identity crisis after receiving the blurred memory of an humain who played pokémon. Surprising that they have not some sort of introspection chapter but its good, cause here its a story where the characters action talk for herself, and the steps that the story take are always entertaining or surprising. Each step describe a world seeing by a pokémon with the knowledge of an humain, where pokémon and human are not equal. And the author make sure we want see how this "not so weak" bunny gonna make the fondation of this World shaker.

An excellent and highly creative, as well as original, fic that most definitely belongs in the top 200. I eagerly await further chapters with baited breath. Fics involving a Pokemon MC are somewhat rare to begin with, and even rarer among their number are those of such quality and creativeness.

    This shows great potential
If you like pokemon you will enjoy it a lot being a good world building that finds so far a good balance between games, anime and realism without any one overpowering the other excessively (personally I can easily see it as the prelude to the pokemon mystery dungeon world).

At first I wasnt sure but the MC isnt an asshole firstly and is quite intelligent, with a pride of a Pokemon AND a human which is interesting to read about.
Basically we aren't reading a story about a human in a pokemons body but more like a Pokemon and an human with human memories which means that the motives, actions and reactions are appropriate.
Also i like that there's a very clear overarching plot with every chapter being signigicant and not just 'slice of life' filler. I binged the whole thing as far as was available and in genuinely impressed.

I read this story on a whim, and I'm really glad I did. The quality of this story really surprised me, and it was so much better than I expected.
This story's pacing isn't particularly fast, but it's written in a way where it seems like it is. Every scene has a purpose and pushes the story forward consistently, making for a very tight and well-paced story that's extremely digestible for the reader. The story is at 57k words at the time I'm writing this review, but technically, our hero made very little progress in the grand scheme of things in both her powerlevel and social goals, and the story isn't shy about letting you know this. That isn't to say that no progress has been made. In fact, I'd say the opposite. Even though the MC's just a tiny fish in a large ocean, she consistently achieves smaller victories and losses that make the story feel so much more personal and intimate than if it focused on her grander goals.
The fact that the MC is clearly an underdog in this world is a refreshing pace to see, and though it's pretty likely that she'll become a much bigger deal in the future, I'm almost hoping that we don't reach that point for a while. I keep seeing a bunch of people eagerly anticipating the point where the MC will evolve into a lopunny, which is understandable given this is a pokemon fic, but I'm personally hoping we don't see that happen for a while and not until we get an obscene amount of buildup.
The characterization is excellent. It's simple, and her motivations and fears are introduced early on in a very effective way, but the simplicity doesn't make it any less effective. I know this review is mostly focused on the MC, but the side characters are done extremely well too. As a side note/spoiler:
I'm so glad that Rayn eventually left Cleo to go on his own journey. While that was his plan from the beginning of their journey out of their starting area, I was afraid he would go back on his decision because of his growing bond with Cleo. The fact that

I've read up to the available chapters and I like pretty much everything I've seen up to this point. The goals and desires of the characters are pretty fleshed out and well-written. The grammar and writing are pretty much spotless, I don't think I've seen even one typo so far. Overall a very good read.

Let me preface this review by saying that Pokémon fanfiction has never done it for me. And I boil it down to two reasons.
The disconnect between the inner worlds of humans and Pokémon - extending to battles, emotive narrative, and aspirations
There is a tendency to rely too much or too little on in game lore for world building. I recognise it is the hardest thing to balance in fanfics but this seems pronounced in Pokémon
Cleo, the MC in this story deftly solves my first issue by mixing traits. She is neither fully human nor fully Pokémon coded. Her aspirations are inspired by her half remembered humanity but the means and struggle she goes through are fully Pokémon. The author wonderfully captures an inhuman character coming to terms with humanity-both in the external world and in their inner world.
As answer to my second gripe- a fresh perspective from a character like Cleo inevitably prods at the lore of world building from the games. Her dual faceted nature comments on both the Pokémon culture and human culture and its just…fun. It is both a fish out of a water situation AND social agitation of “normal Pokémon lore”. It’s wonderful.
Give this story a read if creative storytelling in the Pokémon verse is attractive. Definitely give this story a read if an extremely well realised character with clear aspirations and social goals outside of “Pokémon story norms” is what you’re looking for. Also give this author support on patreon (if they had one) for more regular updates >>hint hint at author ;)
