Walter Rainey finds himself reborn as a bionic entity with a dark purpose. Operating as a government-sanctioned assassin known as the Man from Ashton, he is tasked with carrying out lethal orders without question. However, his humanity resurfaces, and doubts and dilemmas plague his moral conscience. When a critical mission goes awry, he finds himself fleeing with an unexpected companion, a girl he never intended to save.
