    When I first saw this, I was on my hands and knees that it wasn’t just a copy-paste of magical girl gunslinger but with a gender swapped main character, and my prayers were answered. The characters don’t all act the same, there are similarities of course, but it’s super refreshing to read honestly, on top of that, I haven’t seen a single grammar or spelling error so far. 10/10 good stuff👌

    There are plenty of mysteries about what "Those reasons" that made Katie bully Mai[to] are and I wonder if they will be the same as in MGG (Or if we will ever know those reasons)
    Style:
    While at the start we have an obvious influence from the original, we do get our own vibe going on and that is appreciated, but the style of narrative is kept to its own author and isn't bound to Mika's series.
    Grammar:
    I am not the right person to ask about grammar, at the very least I didn't find anything so 5/5.
    Story:
    How do you evaluate a fan fiction on the story front?
    The [Story] follows the work of another author, at least the base, but every fan fiction gets its own narrative from the [What If] the author in question is addressing, in this instance...[What if Mai Kuroki was Maito Shiroki?] and [What if Maito was a "Friend" of Katie instead of Lily?]
    The Pizza guy does quite well in answering those questions getting an interesting and compelling story about it, and I loved every second this story is told.
    Character:
    I mean...The only characters we know so far are the ones we already knew from MGG, but they do feel right for the circumstances they are in the new setting they got, Maito is acting like the bullied kid (He will be looked more closely as a boy instead of a girl since he is a Dark with guns tho, waiting for that to happen). Lily is perhaps now a Love interest?
    I would like to see that, but will not be disappointed if they end as a platonic friendship instead.
    And more importantly [Helios], the mere fact that we got him instead of [Selene] shows how much they are their own character instead of a carbon copy from the original work. Even if that would had been fine as this series is based in MGG.

    While Magical Girl Gunslinger is amazing, this take on the world is both fresh, invigorating, and just as wonderful as the original. Now I dont really want to compare the two as both are their own little things but I cant help but love how this story has gone. It has absoletely transcended my expectations with grammer emotions and a strong story far beyond what I thought was possible from a sidestep.
    Overall 10/10 I love it and I hope it keeps up ( and hopefully diverges into its own little thing)
