7 years ago Valentine lost his entire family. He had to fight to survive on his own, learning magic was just a means to an end for him. When he entered Heaven Magica, the best school for mages he thought he would finally have the chance to learn what power really meant. But when he least expected it, his life was turned upside down. Now he has to fight to survive again, this time though, he's not alone.

Terran gained everything he has 7 years ago, or more accurately his father did. When the awakening happened and the magic beasts attacked his father was at the front of everything. This made him powerful, but also stern, unloving, and especially hard on Terran. Now that Terran is at the top of his class, about to be an apprentice hunter he thought he would finally make his father proud.
