The world itself is your typical fantasy world but the magic system that governs it is easily understood. The characters are interesting and I feel that there would be romance between the two MCs and will have its own arc soon but this starting point of the story solidifies the world for me.

I'm liking this story.
The overall concept speaks to me on a visceral level. I've done my own fair share of programming and so far everything 'checks out' as it were. While we haven't seen much in the way of code, and perhaps never will, I look forward to learning to spell.
I'm liking how our protagonist is mature, yet not afraid to take a small amount of risk. They're embarking on something difficult, yet know they can accomplish.
No notes, good story, pity it's weekly.

One criticism is that the main characters are not doing much fighting while side characters are fighting more than them

My only gripe is that the 1/week release is a helluva wait, but as someone in the software world, I get it.

This is a fantastic isekai story! I loved every moment of it, and the magic system is by far the best I've ever read.The idea of using programming as the basis for magic is incredibly creative and made me feel right at home as a computer science student. It's such a unique take on the genre!
There's also an intriguing mystery behind the magic system that the main character begins to uncover, which adds another layer of excitement to the story. I can't wait to see where it leads!

Mc isn't overpowered but has a foundational understanding that may lead to him being so. The characters are still fresh and relatively unchanged, so character development has a way to go. But that's no surprise for a story that if the author plans well, could be several books long. I am enjoying the writing and it is free from typos and obvious grammatical errors. I'm adding it to my follow list and will consider subbing to it on patreon.

I love stories that build up the magic system from first principles to achieve a specific aesthetic. In this case the aesthetic is that of a software architect figuring out the syntax and structure of a new programming language without the documentation. It's engaging and fun. It makes fining bugs in code as exciting as fining a cheat code to life.
