<.................>

In the world of Raekoft, magic is everywhere and flows through everyone and everything, seemingly with a mind of its own. This magic comes in all forms and understandings with the world revolving around its use.

Ritz Dravus is a 16-year-old teen with a rare potential in battle magic. After years of working and saving up money, he can finally attend the school of his dreams, Liken Academy.

If only he could enjoy his time there.

Liken Academy is a place filled with the high class. A place where power rules supreme (and is more popular). Ritz’s humble beginnings will struggle in a place where social standing and power defines a person (including their popularity).

Rittz will have to go through the usual school drama of making friends, keeping up with classes, dealing with crushes, fighting against bullies, growing insanity, magic manipulation, power scaling and the ever-looming threat of a neighbouring kingdom hungry for war.

If magic is the first rule in this world, then mayhem would be the second.

Author Note:

I have returned after an eight-month hiatus to inform everyone I will, hopefully, continue this story. All existing chapters have been edited to be easier to read and less erroneous in general. Do give them a read.

Disclaimer: As of now, I have only read 5 chapters into this. It's also my first review.
I think it's pretty good overall.
The story so far is pretty okay. The prologue gives a lot of room for the flexibility of  direction. The way it is right now, it feels like an awesome underdog story. And this kind of thing is what I expect and want from royalroad.
Not really much to say about characters this early on, but suffice to say, the important ones are all pretty tropey so far. Some fit into their singular role (haughty noble, mysterious headmaster etc) so well that it might as well define their entirety.
The style is really good. The style is so confident all the time. It's very unique in a way that I cant put into words. But it's definitely the aspect of the fiction that hooked me in the most. Props to the author for being so bold despite this being his/her first fiction
Grammar is pretty okay. I only see one mistake or two in a chapter.
