Description
The kingdom of Triciella lies in a picture-perfect fantasy world, complete with sparkling magic and loyal knights and a sunny-haired, kind hearted heroine. Like all good fictional settings, she must save the kingdom from the evil powers that be, very conveniently falling in love with a lost prince in the process, and invoking the wrath of an unjust villainess. And like all proper villainesses, the infamous Lady Joanna has to find new, creative ways to ruin the life of the aforementioned heroine. But alas! Like all things bound by predestined rules, the story never goes as planned.

- KoreleafRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0An excellent take and twist of the 'I am the Villainess' genre. Minor spelling hiccups here and there, but nothing that detracted from overall story or ruined reading flow. The characterization is definitely a strength and, so fair, characters both major and minor have been themselves and not a cut out stereotype.
- PhoenixFlareRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I have to say, I think this one is good so far. The characterization is pretty solid, there's no major foolish moments between anyone in particular; the story is taking a bit to get moving, but it's steady as she goes. I'd think that the one particular issue I have with it is the fact that sometimes it seems as though the general descriptions of events can be a touch odd- but that's really a minor quibble in the grand scheme of things and it's hard for me to quantify that statement, really. There's a je ne sais quoi that prevents me from giving it 5 stars, but overall very good for what I've read so far.
- librarysmilesRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0What does it feel like to be magically trapped in an otome game that replays while various endings continue?
Joanna Winston, the villainess in that scenario, has had enough of dying various ways and allows someone with her same first name to live bravely live as a pinch-hitter for her.
There is much to discover in this new magical otome land. Will Joe escape her fiancé? Will Joe ever kick bubblebird bums? How much is magic hiding? Will Joe and Joanna find their own "happily ever after"?
