Description
A realm populated by mortals, where demigods and gods were beings of fables and legends only. This peaceful and mundane world experiences an irreversible change that gives rise to not just cultivators but brands of new lifeforms. Demons rise up as animals transform and gain intelligence, and the world itself changes forever.
After thousands of years, the one behind this cataclysmic event is finally reborn into a new family, body, and existence as a ruling empire's famous general's daughter. This may cause some unexpected hurdles along the way... But what else would make it more fun to reach back to the top if not a new challenge?

- jelliezRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It’s a quippy, well- written, wild ride. I binged all three books, and I’m excited to see what’s next from this author.
Mad God is a fresh take on the reincarnation/cultivation story, fans of the genre should have a go, you won’t be disappointed.
There is some sex and violence, but nothing gauche or over the top. - Pro2aEMSRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It’s time I’ve given the corty series a review of my thoughts. The mad god was simply phenomenal. I had no idea what to expect… from the synopsis and the cover which I liked I still decided to put it off to read a couple other series… I’m kinda head butting the wall now because of this. The mad god made me laugh, get angry and get super pissed off…but wow what a creative venture that truly pulled me in. Corty has a way of writing that has such structured world building that’s rarely seen. Side characters can all be main characters if it was another story featuring just them. The way he creates his characters is fantastic. Also, corty has this sense of humour in his writing that makes me actually laugh out loud and I’ve done it so many times reading his stories. Ren has become one of my top 10 characters of all time… Lia is almost up there too because of their similarities but ren is just so much more out there ✌🏾 only those that have read these series will get that V lol. Another excellent thing about corty is that he can take criticism… some, in my opinion were uncalled for in my eyes but maybe I’m just biased… you have some though that think a book should be written 100% to their liking and tastes… I know that we as a reader love to read things we like but it can’t all be what we want. If that’s the case pick up a pen or laptop and write your own series. Also, corty communicates with his readers. He will respond to literally every comment and not just with a “thanks for reading” or something generic. He will actually respond! He will have a conversation with you. Authors take note of this!! No one likes to read and if they take time out to leave comments it would be nice to get a response. But I will keep this short sorry Ren 🤐😇✌🏾. Read this series! It’s sooooo worth it!
- tikiiriaRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Yea the MC is a bit crazy; she was eons old. Yea the MC enslaves enemies, but she also saved slaves. Parts may be dark but it wasn't only dark.
Grammar and style were great. World interesting. The plot was busy. Lots of people, stories and things. It was a bit too many named storyline characters for me. They make sense with the amount of interaction with the world.
Some parts aren't for everyone but not a bad story. - GhostlyGooseRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5Honestly really want to like this one more. There is some great stuff to be had some fun characters and good world building. Written light enough for easy reading but has some depth. There are parts that I find grating, mostly related for the MCs propensity for slavery. I will keep reading and update the review if any of my thought change.
- wk - pppRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5Its a good one. It explores a lot of themes so give it a try.
The pacing is a but slow but entertaining. There's also the romance between the two mc.
But I hate it so yeah
It also explore in-depth knowledge of the world. It might give you an info dump so be prepared
There's a male lead. The author probably forgot to add it in the tags - StormblesssedRoyal Road★★★ 3.0The concept of the story is great and it certainly has potential.
Sadly the "romance" side of it kept knocking me out of the story.
For their ages it just felt very unnatural and wrong, especially when you comsoder one is really unfathombly old. And the blind acceptance of it all and them getting along so well just felt way too forced by the author. There was no real true progression between them. More like a checkbox that they are together was ticked and so that's how it is now.
The idea of them being together in the end doesn't annoy me however. I just don't like it was done as it kept breaking my immersion I suppose. - Sable99Royal Road★★★ 3.0This started of as a decently good reincarnation/cultivation novel. Gender bender aspects are minimal as the protagonist doesn't seem to care. There are no significant spelling or grammar issues. "Mad God" may not be the best name for it as gods only really show up in the first chapter. The protagonist only seems to have one emotion (amusement) and has no notable depth of character. Unfortunately the protagonist is a loli, and it seems likely she will stay that way permanently (eww). Even more unfortunately... the protagonist took in slaves, and tortured and abused them, and according to the author it gets even darker than that in the future. I do not recommend this novel.
- BoredOwlRoyal Road★ 0.5Summed up in two words, cringe inducing.
With a main character who has the personality of a brain dead squirrel, with constant words like nyah from the mc you wouldn't be mistaken for thinking that the entire first chapter was from another story.
Along with the caustic personality, general stupidity and lack of any common sense (despite somehow ascending to godhood), you also have a story which is technically a gender bender starting off with an arranged marriage with no qualms from the main character.
Everything apart from the writing quality is just repulsive, and waved away as a whimsical personality by the author. If there was at least a prior history of it it wouldn't be half as irritating, but no why not lure people in with a lie and no warning that the entire story would be of bizarre taste and as palatable as a rotten carcass.
