Captain Maxwell Cristov is a seasoned and salted veteran of Europa’s treacherous waters. Picking up the pieces of his broken past, he finds himself with humanity’s greatest task in hand: Finding the Heart of Europa.

It is the longest standing question the Consulate has wished to answer, and the promise of three generations.

The Templus Lunarium, a strict religious order based on the merging of man and machine, does not see humanity fit for the undertaking. They wage a complex political war against the Consulate to prevent it, viewing all others outside of its sacred order as unworthy. Despite their inhibition, Consul Meridian has organized the expedition, with Captain Cristov leading the charge.

None truly know what lies at the center of the moon. its barren immensity crushes the body and twists the mind, deeming the Heart unreachable. Regardless, Max is poised to fulfill this promise, not only for humanity, but for himself, to mend his fractured spirit and find his true purpose.
