But one night, something incredible happened. Luke had the wildest dream of his life. He met a strange man who said, “I am the god of meaning.” The man seemed to know everything about Luke, especially how much he wanted to go on amazing adventures.

The god gave Luke a choice: he could stay at home and keep having adventures in his backyard, or he could go to a brand-new world full of excitement and danger—and Lysander could come too!
