Lost In Love and Fear

Knowing little of the world away from home, Janai Hall is suddenly thrust into a living nightmare after her hometown was subjected to a devastating attack. As the ruling body falls apart, she realizes Lucera is no longer a place of peace and has become home to turmoil and chaos. In a desperate attempt to find a new safe haven, she encounters a mercenary hired to terminate any survivors of the attack. Janai is taken hostage by this mercenary and is forced to flee from the brigade of hired soldiers he left behind. Along the way the duo discovers shameful truths about their world, struggling to separate those truths from the lies. Uncertain of who or what to believe, let alone each other, their journey will be one of both ambition and trepidation.
