I don't know how I stumbled upon this story but I regret not a second of it.
It is an isekai story that is immediately different because the world the protagonists come from is not an exact copy of earth. Add to that a constant sense of mystery, great interaction between the protagonists, political intrigue, magic and an amazingly deep and interesting worldbuilding and you have a true hidden gem that NEEDS to be read!!

Disclaimer: Beta reader here, it's time I finally add my review to things.
Grammar: No issues, and if there are you can blame me.
Style: One of the first things I really noticed when reading was the style, in particular the descriptions of the world. While character writing and dialogue do have a modern feel, I would say the environment descriptions take on an almost poetic style. The flow of the paragraphs feel like they come from classical poetry to me, it's something that makes me look forward to new locations especially. Other than that, not too much to say about the style.
Story: Lmenli follows the story of Ryder and Gideon as they try to return to Earth after they mistakenly Isekai themselves. This core goal is solid, and is actually followed upon. Unlike many other Isekai stories where the initial goal to get home is thrown out, Lmenli actively progresses the story toward that point. Ryder and Gideon are also very active in moving the story forward, where 90% of the events that transpire around their characters are from their choice. More on characters next section.
Not only is Ryder and Gideon's story the main focal point, but other characters are clearly living their own stories as well. There is clearly a living world that would continue without the protags. The important thing is that while we see this, it isn't the focus and we only really see where these other stories intersect, or where Ryder inserts himself into them. This is seen most with Saphry, the person who's body Ryder took over. She clearly was living her own life, as sheltered as it was before Ryder. Other character's have an opinion on Saphry, and know her from before, which affect Ryder now that he's transmigrated. This idea really follows into the worldbuilding of the story. There's so many phrases that characters speak that at first seem like something the author put in because it sounded cool, but there all rooted into the culture that has been built for this world that we will only see

Self explanatory. Go give this a try because it's quite the interesting little read.
I remembered about reading most of what's out there about this after hearing Operation Deep Freeze from the TNO ost again. I always find mysterious stories like these fascinating. What is melancholic, though, is seeing dead, forever-unchanging stories. The author should primarily take care of themselves, yes but it's just so sad to see incomplete stuff. Well, if you read all this then give Lmenli a try. Good worldbuilding!

It's good and well-paced, a bit slow for me but I can wait too. PLEASE TRY IT OUT!!!
Probably a lot of spoilers so watch out.
Okay the world-building is solid and the magic system isn't an ass pull, the characters have depth and do seem to be in the proper time period and act like people from their stations. POLITICS ARE STILL A PAIN HERE.
Ryder/Sap is a dumbass but a believable dumdass, not a case of the author being lazy or forcing a troupe.
Gideon/Sil is a bit of a side character, though probably has more agency than his partner and does a lot of background unseen stuff.
These two should fit the typical two-man act of brain and brawn but they have a damaging lack communication. You might think this would change with the memory transfer, but Gideon's download is too long and has a different perspective from a human. Ryder's memory transfer was barely working before and was halted.
These memories affect them more subtly for a possibly typical body-jacking episode. Ryder, I think is more affected by Saps' memory because they are both human even if there is relatively little memory being transferred.
Gid meanwhile has probably decades of memory being plugged into his brain but is still somewhat disconnected by race.
The memory transfers are probably done in percentages which is why Gideon gets more per transfer and just snippets for Ryder.
I feel like Ryder needs to get more of Saps' memories to see what this world really is, at best Saps' life was a like that of an expensive doll to be kept safe, and out of mind, being her won't be good in the long run.
Plus they don't see Ryder as Saps, but Saps acting like a (man) Ryder.
There is a lot of mystery regarding Saps and Sils, and their world. Probably Earth too that Grimoire was too sketchy.
A lot is unknown about Saphry's origins and why did a girl get a dragon as a companion .... in medieval times boys are seen as better so why, especially with the caveat of biological immortality, few details are known about the pha

The story is still very early but it has already managed to begin establishing the two primary characters, which is refreshing compared to other more rote isekai / transported fictions.
Ryder and Gideon both feel like their own individuals, and seeing them suddenly thrust into a completely unexpected situation makes for an interesting basis.
Similarly refreshing is seeing characters with impetus to act rather than being led. The story so far advances from the character's actions, rather than purely from their circumstances, both their motives and flaws pushing the plot forward.
I hope to see this story continue.
