Little Black Cat

Something akin to a sequel of "Birth of the Absolute Asura & True God" on ScribbleHub (as well as just a prequel in general to my other novels).

Within the first mortal realm to exist - Genesis - mortal kind is on the backfoot as powerful spirit beasts rule over the world after usurping what little progress the weak managed to make with their own civilisations. Over 90% of all mortals on the surface are enslaved whether to the various dragon families, the Radiant Lion's Empire or various other smaller factions that existed. There were a few bastions where fairness was valued such as where the mighty Vermillion Bird rules over all of bird kind with justice or the Kitsune of Bloodleaf who never forgot their task in maintain nature.

The largest population of free mortals was actually under the sea... But that is not the focus of this story.

Instead follow the little black cat who was labelled a freak by the mighty lions as she finds herself a new toy to play with; the princess of the seas who does not know what to do when being confronted by the harshness of the surface. Together (and with those they meet along the way) they work to create an upheaval within the corrupted system as they challenge the source of the Primordial Era. Yet both will come to learn that their principles may not be as aligned as one may have initially thought...
