Description

Everything in life can be measured, and everything in life is measured. Each person who has ever lived has five Numbers on their arm, defining the five primary attributes of that person. Throughout someone's life, these will increase with time and effort, and all of society revolves around these Numbers.

What happens when this natural system of Numbers, the basis of all of society for all of history...changes?

My first fiction, so I appreciate all reviews and feedback!

    A numbers-based novel, where the world gets turned on its head and nothing is ever the same!
    This one's a blast folks. Definitely worth checking out!
    For those Game-lit addicts, this is quite different from your run-of-the-mill levelling systems. So be warned, blue boxes are not the main focus!
    Highly recommended, Syranr has outdone themselves with this banger!

    It has a very good story that keeps your attention and draws you in. It has well written characters that although for me personally can be aggravating at times are well thought out and have personality. I personally can't wait to see what happens in the third book and recommend giving it a read.

    This will give you goosebumps and a rush which one always desires while reading apocalyptic settings. The worldbuilding is superb and each chapter we get to know more about the society before it was destroyed. When the MC and his friends grow stronger, it actually gives a rewarding feeling as it is well earned. The only other book I can think of, coming this close is Change:New world.
    The numbers here actually mean something rather than some meaning less values on a blue screen. Character development is great. MC character has left a lot of room for it to grow, with him being a sort of reluctant leader and a simple insecure teen.
    Style is simple and neat.
    Grammar: Any mistakes if any are corrected fast so no problem.
    Overall this is a must read for any litrpg fans and even for normal fans.

    After the change, stats can not only be increased through training and hard work, but also through killing monsters. And there is more than just stats. One weakness IMO is that the protagonist is keeping many unallocated stat points even though he has to fight for his life and I don't agree with his in-character long-term rationale (I do partially but he is taking it too far, endangering his short-term survival).
    In total, an enjoyable story so far.

    Great take and an interesting way to use character creation.  it starts with a hook and keeps reeling you in.  I am excited to see the next book in the series.
    with out giving too much away the skills really help to enhance the characters keep them alive and enhance the story.

    To keep it short. The series takes a new turn on the litrpg trope while also keeping good quality characters and dialogue. Furthermore, the story has set itself up for a good foundation going forward as well as having a great narrative hook. Well Done. I look forward to continue reading and seeing more great material.

    The presence of numbers on your arm, that society uses to measure your status? Very Black Mirror-esque. It also invokes themes from Gatica (1997) and In Time (2011). Lots of ways this story could go, but what is here so far is good.

    A nice minimalist litRPG system, which itself suffers a kind of rebalancing/litRPG apocalypse. Its use of the opening-chapter worldbuilding tidbits is excellent; they're as good as those used in Luck Lockyer or a step below Practical Guide to Evil. Doing the little details well speaks greatly of the author.
    I have some quibbles with some things that have/are going on in the more recent few chapters but I'm willing to trust the Author is building to a point or there's a plot thread being woven.
