Life of a Nymph

Apparition encounters have become very popular in the city so that any person may reasonably expect to be in a similar situation any moment. Destiny locates Filipino teenager Mario during one night in May when he encounters a “tree giant,” the verykapreof Philippine folklore, who traps him in her smoke enchantment. Several moments later, a nymph comes to his rescue. These encounters begin his life as friend and companion of apparitions, characters of Philippine folklore, reimagined, modernized.
