TLDR:Got lich powers. Stabbed human. Stabbed more humans. And some dragons. Destroyed kingdom. Did more stuff. Got some useful subordinates. Ate more human souls. Some knitting and cat patting side quests. Killed other lich, now will kill god. ez.

Readers beware: this is a very gory story, and a slice-of-?life adventure.

For the most part, I give 4.5 star ratings as no story is perfect. This one isn't either, but it's close enough.
The MC goes dark quickly with only a couple/few sentences to explain why. That's my only issue with this story. Well that and some pretty thick plot armor in places.
It's a smart, witty, and fun story of a lich just trying to "live".

This story reminds me of a Journey Of Red And Black: A mythological undead creature unwillingly created, left clueless and with an entertaining sense of propriety and murderousness. And a love of siege weaponry.
It seems like more darkly comedic than Journey, but the last two chapters (14 and 15) were more serious, and I expect it's going to have serious moments in the future.

Very unique story where the MC is not a hero, but somehow I find myself still rooting for her. Much better than I expected and definitely worth giving it a chance. Always treat people with respect as you never know who they are. Even servants will give more loyalty.
I love Maud and her interactions with Jenkins. I hope they live the way they want happily.

The read so far has been nothing short of entertaining. Maud is a lovely character put through a horrendous event that has changed her physically and emotionally. Being a lich we see many "quirks" associated with the undead manifested in her behavior (if such things as desecrating the dead and finding skulls cute can be considered quirks). However even with these quirks we still get peeks into her human personality which have carried over- such as an interest and love for gardening/flowers. There are several others such as fashion and crafting- all these quirks and mannerisms create a truly unique and lovable undead badass heroine whom I can't wait to read more about. I highly recommend it is worth it.

Liches get Stiches is a story that presents a dreadful slaughter and gore fest in a cheerful and matter of fact narrative. Blood, limbs and entrails are strewn about in well wrtitten chapters with an interesting cast. There are already strong hints at deeper mysteries, waiting to be unravelled.
Certainly a novel I'll be following closely

Genuinely very unique story, enjoyably written. Has shades of an darker, undead Beware of Chicken. Much of the beginning is meandering, though not in a bad or unrealistic manner for someone in the situation. Seems to have firmly established its footing now and has begun to expand the world and increase in general foreshadowing, worldbuilding, etc. to great effect  I'm very interested to see where this goes!

TL;DR : This is a very well-written story. While I did eventually drop it, Liches get Stitches kept my attention for a remarkable length of time.
Style : Events were seperated well, dialogue and thoughts flow naturally. While often dark, I generally saw the style as a cohesive boon to the overall story.
Story : While at times I was confused on where the story was heading, there has been plenty of overarching plot that popped up here and there. Tension is used effectively, especially considering the
already undead nature of the MC.
Grammer : I believe there were barely any technical errors, and there were certainly none that disrupted me from my focus on the narrative.
Character : Probably the weakest part of the story in my opinion, the main character is exceedingly bland. It's difficult to care about any plot developments when there is no reader investment in the MC. The side characters also came across as one-dimensional, and their actions felt contrived and forced pretty often.
Overall : It was interesting to read, and I still remember some of the funnier bits. That said, it does get tired eventually. Generally, the story is written amazingly. I just wish a bit more happened.

I'm liking it so far.  I saw this story in another authors note, and I'm glad I checked it out.
Style  It's gory and ghoulish and very dry.  Does a good job of communicating the character's perspective and thoughts.  Just well done.
Story  Some of the early figuring things out felt like it came too easy, and Maud just kind of succeded at each new untested thing she tried.  I would have liked maybe just a few false starts or failures that have to be overcome later (although one spell does kind of go sideways to the spook zone, I liked that).  Otherwise, Maud's rise to power is engaging and there are already hints of greater conflict to come.
Grammar  No noticable problems, seems fine.
Character  This I think is my only real criticism.  Maud's character and motives start out a bit scattered.  She keeps emphasizing wanting nothing to do with people or responsibilities while constantly taking them on anyway.  This is probably meant as reluctant character growth, but it felt a bit choppy to me so far.  The other characters we have met also feel a bit flat, BUT to be fair there hasn't been much interaction yet and I liked the old witch she took as 'payment'.
I think this story has great potential and I will keep following it for sure.  The nitpicks are minor, and even in the few chapters since starting I think there has been improvement, and I foresee this story only getting better and spookier as it goes.

This novel was losing me for a while before I stopped, but I think the nail in the coffin was when Maud the village witch turned lich casually learns a spell to eat souls in less time than it took me to write this sentence.
Perhaps if Maud was established as a character with an explicit background that allowed her to take knowledge she already had and modify it to gain that ability, I wouldn't be bothered.  However, Maud is wholly unfamiliar with the subject - to the point another character has to tell her that she is a lich in the first place - which implies that anybody and their mother is capable of eating souls like it was nothing.
The setting is - as of yet - very poorly explained, I know very little about the very town in which she lived to say nothing of the region that town existed in.  I know nothing about how magic in general is perceived, again to say nothing of how any one particular magic is perceived.  I don't know how common it is, how powerful it is, how powerful a village witch might be exepcted to be and how things might have changed with her becoming a lich.
I can infer from her casual disregard for things like murder and desecrating bodies that becoming a lich has changed her personality, although to be honest, I don't know that it has for sure - she could have been like that before the incident for all I know.  Her motivations are generally rather opaque, but for her short term goals and for any longer term goals she might have.  Insofar as she has longer term plans as of yet, but even with what I have seen so far she reminds me of when I was a child and I was off my ADHD medication.
When you combine the lacking setting with the protagnists unknown everything and then just start giving her the ability to eat souls by saying a mere two words, my interest dies fast and hard.
There may be an interesting story for those who are capable of looking past those faults, but I do not plan to check.
