I haven't read much yet, but I'm excited to explore this new world! I love the unique cultural elements. Jasmine is in a society that suppresses females, particularly nuns. In order to progress, she will not only have to overcome a disability in her soul, she will also have to overcome society. The author beautifuly sets the story into motion in a way that allows me to connect with the characters.

Just the prologue out so far so this isn't going to be a very detailed review.
But the quality of the storytelling so far seems extremely promising and I personally can't wait until we see what is next.
The world-building seems to consist of fascinatingly new takes on tropes that not many use.
