Description

A revised version of this book will be coming out on Amazon on January 31. Due to publishing rules, I will stub this book on January 23. Happy New Year.

Chapter Intro

Leo, one of the last surviving humans, is sent back in time and given the chance to right the wrongs of the past. Unfortunately, Leo isn't particularly smart, strong, or brave. He survived as long as he did by running away and hiding.

Excerpt

Brick and his two friends looked down on him. They did not look friendly.

“You have gained +1 skill at getting punched in the face,”Imp's cheerful voice said.

Note.

I suspect many readers begin my story expecting to see the main character use their knowledge of the future to get powerful and kill all the bad guys, and this story isn't it. I chose to focuson the human aspects of Leo's return to the past.

For this latest version, I've found a book cover I like, fixed (hopefully), the book's grammar issues, and removed and adjusted a few passages that didn't add to the plot. I've adjusted the length of the chapters, particularly the short ones in the beginning, making them a more respectable length.

If you've read the original, you are unlikely to find anything too different in this new version.

I havent read the new edition, and dont intend to to be frank.
Not because the old edition sucked, but because I was happy with it. This isnt a power fantasy, and you shouldn't go in expecting that. I honestly thought that was the goal at first as well... And while I was a little disappointed at first the depth of the story more then made up for it.
I don't think I've read a story quite so human and down to "earth"(As much as a story can be). This is a story about despair, hope, and humanity. The complexity, the emotions, the design... All add up to a story that grabs your attention and throttles it until your diving into each chapter with desperation for more. I mightttt be making it out to be more then it is, but i promise (Crosses fingers lmao) you wont be disappointed if you go in with a open mind, and the desire to enjoy a truly interesting story. Also numbers go up blah blah blah. It may not be perfect, but what really is?
