nah, for real though, there's only two chaps as of writing this, the prologue and chapter 1, but I like it so far! Some people prolly won't like the more descriptive and flowery langauge, but I do, at least. Topic is cool too, how a centurion is going to react to a fantasy world.

While I admit to being a newcomer to this genre, I can recognise passion and dedication anywhere, and it's clear that this author has them in spades. Their knowledge and research of the subject matter shines through on every chapter, making for content that is constantly engaging.
The writing can be a bit rough in parts, but I'm heartened to see how eager the author is to receive and take on feedback. Just in the short span of the chapters I've read, there's a noticeable improvement in grammar and use of paragraph graphs to keep the action flowing. I think this bodes well for how the rest of the story unfolds, as it's in a constant state of improvement.
The main character Cyrus is also an intriguing figure: violent and resourceful with a cruel streak tempered by moments of internal reflection. His testosterone-fuelled journey and the visceral action scenes along the way are sure to keep readers entertained.

I can't even read it. The author needs to learn to space badly. It seemed alright and I don't want to rate the story unfairly but it is nigh unbearable in its current state. Sentences are jumbled into paragraphs seemingly at random and form 3 or 4 walls of text per chapter.
I hope the author spaces it a bit and I do want to be able to come back and change my review as I like the premise.

The first 30 chapters were great, but since the second in command shows up it’s gone downhill. At this point, it is barely even worth 2 stars. The whole reason people wanted to read this was because of the Roman background, but I can see that it won’t last long. Good job wasting everybody’s time!
