Description
Minnette is a young elven woman who was raised by carnies traveling across the continent of Elvenon. One day her carnival troupe hosts a guild of foreign traders from the volcanic western isles of Kri’Kori.
Born with the Tamar gift of animal bonding, Minnette is asked by the carnival leader to assist the guild with their exotic creatures booth. Ever the lover of animals, she readily agrees to help but it is not long before she discovers they are keeping one of the elusive Aquaeth– a water elf named Myno– captive in a locked tank, treating him as a sideshow.
After Myno reaches out to Minnette for help, she devises a plan to free him from the guild and get him to the ocean before the cold of winter hits. The guild is not willing to just let him go, however, and sends bounty hunters to stop them before they reach the coast.
Follow the journey of Minnette as she and Myno race to reach the western coast of Elvenon before the guild’s bounty hunters reach their mark.

- MelP505Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I really appreciate your use of spoken language in a written form so you don't lose that uniqueness of how a story sounds, as you're able to make the story feel like the reader is listening to the characters speak back and forth in first person, rather than have a story be told to you by a narrator. The fantasy story style with a new Elven land is super intriguing, fun, and pulls you in, making you want to read more when you get to the end! I'd like to see more descriptions of the land they're living in--what does it look like? What kind of things do they see?? What kinds of clothing are they wearing, that might be different than what you see in everyday life? Grammatically and technically correct, while maintaining its readability! The character development of Minnette is great thus far, with her interests being developed and giving you a back story, which is always nice to have to give you a little more insight to the main character. I'm looking forward to reading more about her, and other characters that are involved in her life. You have a very unique writing style and the storyline is great!! Very well done!
