- TheLionGuyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Title says it all. I see you Romeru, this is an OC (pls dont steal) Heros Die fan fiction Royal Road edition. You better have a Kane Blackknife reference in here or name this eventual Unique epic weapon the Blade of Tyshalle or I will be disappointed.
I have said all that needs to be said thus: word word word word - GlubenRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Startet reading and couldn't stop myself until i got to the end of the published chapters. Keep up the good work 👍🏻
its a very nice read, it has that feeleng that keeps me constantly wanting to know what happens next.
Hope to see where it leads from here on out. - JackParker462Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Story it's really great. Doesn't feel rushed. It flows pretty good. Some grammar blips, but let's be real they all do. 😆 It's like RR doesn't allow them to use spell check, just raw content. At this point my mind just inserts the right spelling or missed words now. Now I'm just adding words so I can publish the review.
- Luke AbelRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I am loving the story so far, from start to finish I haven't been able to put it down. The world building is rich, but still leaving space for mystery for later, the story is well paced, but feels slightly rushed at times, and the grammar is excellent. what I truly love though are the characters. they are well fleshed out when needed, the main characters are very likeable, and the villains are very easy to dislik, which makes the story very pleasing to read even over the long time between chapter releases.
My only question now, is when is it going to start releasing again? - SoulCraftsmanRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0If I had to pick a word for this story, it would be "solid".
The worldbuilding is clearly strong, even though we aren't aware of all of the context yet. The author does a very good job of showing, not telling, as we learn more about the cast of characters and their environment. The author leaves room for the story to grow while also placing eventual limits on progression, which can be the downfall of many a story.
Characters are fleshed out well - the main cast is as strong as one would expect, but the supporting cast is equally well described. One-off characters become relevant in one way or another, personalities are strong without being overbearing or too stereotypical, and even opponents who die in a chapter or two are more than cookie-cutter stat blocks.
I haven't really noticed any issues with the grammar, there are a few things that I've seen pointed out in the comments but they don't break immersion at all. The style is also good, flowing well between events and worlds with a good balance of action, story, and filler.
I'm very excited to see where this story goes! Thank you for writing this for us. - RibarRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5So this story has a big potential, now depends on author how will he shape it.
Ther is noting new about this concept. But i like how the author put it his magic hands & put a twist in mc psyche. His tragic life has shape him to be quiet but firm. I like that he is a insane , whenever is wepons in question. I like that because human are animal in the end and we all have that moment when we can go mad. But Mc has a lot of that moments. But there is not much information about the rest of charachters in story.
i like both the worlds that he is in because the earth is how we imagine it to be in the future, form cars and AI to cyborgs, and the new word is how we imagine the Middle Ages but with magics and gods that really look at us and interfee. In the outher world we have magic, swords and status window. I like how the author did mentiod a lot of back ground but didint go to deep in them, he has just mentiod them so we know they exisit and what is ther role. I personaly dont like to read to heavy content when autors writhe in riddle because after all i came here to relax from work and to read a LIGHT novel. So author all the best i wish you luck in you endovers.
Ps. Whem will come new ch?🤔😂 - YoMommaSoBigRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0I'm liking it so far, with one glaring exception, and that's real-world combat is jarringly difficult to picture in your mind while reading.
I guess my main criticism is MEGAN guiding in battle scenes seems... well, impossible. There's a lot of conversation going on between moves in a life-or-death battle, and it's hard to imagine MEGAN verbally communicating enough to be useful in those situations. It would be more plausible if the character "awakens" some kind of savant battle sense when his BPMs are up. Anime tend to do this a bunch, having this whole monologue against a blurred background in a fight, but there it's easier to visualize that these are their thoughts and happen at a lightning pace. In text, especially with interactive conversation, I don't think it works as well.
Other than that, the story flows well, and it's a fun read. Reminds me a bit of some of the Korean loner fighter comics/ webnovels I've enjoyed reading. - Wade McCoyRoyal Road★★ 2.0Well written. I only made it 14 chapters. But the flaws compound over time. Bad understanding of blindness. Really bad understanding of blind fighting.
Under no circumstances, while fighting a demon, do you have time to listen to the A.I. in your head describe exactly how to angle your sword so you can stab it. This is where I gave up. - dithecaRoyal Road★★ 1.5I liked the worldbuilding. MC was far too perfect for my liking, but I put up with it for a decent story. Some people like OP -- I wouldn't take any stars off for that.
The sudden, unwarranted, poorly executed erotica in Chapter 54 made this an immediate DNF.
Romance is lovely and doesn't need a content warning. This nonsense needs a flag so people can avoid it. - CatgurlRoyal Road★ 1.0Decent writing, but the main character is very much an anti-hero bad guy - selfish, self-centered and unpleasant. His behavior is also painfully stupid. I like crafter stories so stuck with this for awhile. But the mc gets more and more unlikeable and stupid as the story goes on. Maybe I'll come back to this and see if the mc learns anything and redeems himself, but probably not. So many stories, so little time. I understand Julian is on the spectrum, but we are only told this in author's notes - we are not shown it in any relateable way. No narration from the mc's head or reaction from those around him in that regard. World building as far as I read is ok, all characters so far except the AI MEGAN are also repulsive. Not for me. YMMV.
