LEGACY OF REGRESSION

Usually when people speak of regression, they speak of a missed opportunity or to achieve an abandoned dream. I wouldn't even peg them as wrong, in truth i once thought like that as well, after all who wouldn't want a chance to start over and change your life's mistakes, Until I lived through it.

At first I thought it was cool, but then it happened again, and again, and by the 100th time the isolation had truly set in. As someone with 1000 regressions to his name and it's nowhere near as bright and cheerful as it's cooked up to be.

The world Changed on the first day of 20XX, the structure was entirely different from what it once was, it was over 5 times vaster than before and more noticeably all of humanity gained game-like abilities where our strength and capabilities where put in numbers. The only difference was that everyone started at level 1, equal and without favor, that also includes me, sure i have a few system granted advantages for regressing but as a result the creatures of the world we kill to survive grow at a much faster rate to make up the difference and balance it out, nothing went without checks and balances. Not even the supposed gods that the system brought to the world. Now I am left to only try my best to break this endless cycle of failure and regression.
