Description
Please try to keep your sanity as you read about talking dogs, aliens, magic, and even a trip to Mars.Cal is just an average deliveryman, doing his best to get through his ordinary life in one piece. However, thanks to a chance meeting when he was a child, he's doomed to live his life across repeating time loops as he attempts to unravel the secrets behind an alien invasion while trying to determine what caused him to be stuck in time. Along for the ride with him is a mad scientist, a crotchety retiree, Cal's own father, and Bug, his canine best friend and most loyal companion.
The main loops follow the POV of Cal, while the shorter interludes are little slices of the lives of the other characters, sometimes smaller, sometimes larger.Updates will be Wednesday for 1 large chapter at 3pm est, smaller interludes on M/F

- AzkalRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0A great time loop story! Fast paced and interesting. Chapters are all over the place in terms of length but it seems to be because the author uses them as POV transitions.
Story flows well, no grammatical mistakes to take you out of the story. Very enjoyable so far and I can’t wait to see where it goes! - Dr_InsidiousRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is a fun book. It's not very deep, the characters don't feel super realistic, and they most certainly are not going through deep emotional experiences that resonate to the reader, but on the other hand that is not the focus of the book. LtLTLWGO is about a group of friends time looping to save the universe from weird aliens, talking animals, and even though dark stuff does happen occasionally, the writing style is a optimistic humorous writing style that focuses on the good in the world and other random things like paladin dogs, D&D reference, and multiversal libraries containing all information that exists, has existed, never has/will exist, and that cannot exist.
- MrMikeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0As someone who's been reading for decades I find this very entertaining. While a little heavy on the abilities etc I am sure that some people would absolutely enjoy it. What I love is the way the characters interact.
I'm reading other stories with dungeon cores and incorporating them into non weapons seems like a really interesting take - NyroeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story is about a timeloop that, like all good timeloop stories do, becomes more advanced and interesting as the story unfolds. Chapters are short and to the point, while also giving the important information from each loop.
As more and more complexity is added to the timeloop, the loops get longer and the cast grows. One of my favorite parts of the story is the fact that the loop expands to encompass more people (and animals), giving the timeloop less of a lonely feel. The loops may start grim, but they don't have to stay that way.
If you liked the portions of The Perfect Run where characters gather together to spend loops learning, growing, and collaborating towards a unified goal then this is the story for you!
TLDR The story is quick and to the point, has fun characters, and a fun atmosphere! So give it a try. - Sir.RigamortisRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Ok so as a general review,
1. The main cast as well as the other supporting have strong, clear motivation's i have yet to really see a mustache twirling type villain and I'm happy about that.
2. The chapters are clearly split between mainline story and sub-plots it allows the story to cleanly switch pov and not totally de-rail the chapter to chapter flow of the story.
3. The author loves to put out an almost disturbing amount of and rate of chapters, honesty I'm a bit shook.
4. The worldbuilding and pacing is something of a slow-burn at the start and also gets to the point of the arc in only a few chapters so its respectful and won't waste your time, once the setup has been completed.
5. Do you like weird fiction, perhaps Fallen London, or perhaps a more King In Yellow approach? because let me tell you this story has got it in spades right under its surface and just a sprinkle of it on top too. - SpaceWeatherRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0So it’s early in the story. With that being said, I’m really enjoying the flow and structure of the story. With it being an advanced review, I should probably cover the sections.
Style:
With it being a Time loop story, I feel that the author covers the quickly repetitive portions very well.
Story:
The premise was enough to get me hooked and hating the author for not having more chapters out.
Grammar:
No issues noted.
Character:
With it being early the cast is rather limited and narrow. I do enjoy the interactions so far, and I’d be interested in this they play out in further loops.

But his delivery quickly goes awry as catastrophe strikes and after to a chance encounter with an old acquaintance, he’s thrown into a time loop in a desperate attempt to save the world. In the beginning we get to see Cal correct some of the things that went wrong in his life and start to appreciate things he let pass by with each loop, but it doesn’t take long for the pressure to start bearing down on him with new dangers and challengers pushing him forward.
Learning to Love Time Loops without Going Insane is a story where time moves, and one man has to struggle to balance the blessing of time he’s been afforded with the urgency of everyone’s time running out. There are a lot of elements here, and each loop comes with new, unexpected tension. This story has a lot of potential and I’m excited to see where it goes.
Style: This book is written from the perspective of Cal, but every chapter or two he’s experiencing a new life. The pace is fast, but at the same time slow. You can see things change and others stay the same in a really interesting way. With all the time that passes, I think the author did a good job of keeping us in the moment without hanging us up.
Story: It draws on a lot of sci-fi tropes, but they’re put together in a unique way that I’ve been enjoying. The way we go through so many of Cal’s lives is an exciting aspect that this story does a good job of handling.
Grammar: There were a few spelling errors and grammar mistakes, but nothing to disrupt the reading or push me out of the setting. Aside from that, I think this story could benefit from breaking up some of the paragraphs to make it read smoother.
Character: Cal is relatable guy who got thrown into a situation way over his head. Despite this, he has an incredibly long time to process this given the time loops. Once he gets his bearings, watching the ways he interacts with each loop and changes his decisions for the next look - MrBookLRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Alright, here is an edited review of the story so far.
The author has an odd style of writing, with many, many time skips(due to the length of the loops, this is appreciated and understood), and a lot of view point changes.
It is kind of hard to keep track of where you are in a certain loop, but who is talking is pretty easy to figure out, and normally something is said that quickly explains the time jump.
The author also does this odd thing where each loop is its own chapter, so you can get some pretty big chapters with the main story in it, but then does these interlude chapters, that are incredibly short but expand on minor slice of life stuff that happens in a loop, that doesn't really impact the story at large. These interlude chapters do help to expand on many different characters mentalities and attitudes, and are a fun break, but it is an odd choice.
Story wise, there is defintly a story, and it is constantly changing. So far I am unsure where the story will head, but it seems to be going in an interesting direction, with a fairly OP main character and cast, but with equally over powered enemies. Or are they? I don't know, there's still a lot of mystery about. You can read it and find out!
Grammer was pretty bad at first, but the author is starting to get into their stride and isn't really making any grammatical errors. I don't remember any spelling mistakes or anything, and honestly the nature of the story makes the past present future tensing pretty difficult, so fair enough there.
It is readable, so if you like the story itself it should work out.
Characters! Those are all fun, the main cast you can see the characters, but it's not directly explained to you, it's shown by their actions, including their self sacrifices and all that. Again, time loop story, but still, a lot of awesome characters and plenty of calm moments to explore who they each are, and who they are in relation to each other.
Overall, I do recommend this story, if it's your thing. It won' - digital_carverRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0I'm sure this is going to be an amazing story when it's fleshed out into a series of books one day. The ideas and the worldbuilding in the story are excellent.
But in its current form, the story is not as fun to read as it could be. Most of the early chapters feel pretty rushed, with characters being far too blasé about the idea of the time loop, and in general not taking the time to react to anything - it feels like the author is in a rush to get somewhere, and so just wants to describe these early events without actually making them feel real and immersive.
Style: not much of a style to it at all, the narration is pretty bland.
Story:a really interesting overarching story, if a bit chaotic in execution.
Grammar: no consistent mistakes or issues, just a few random slip ups here and there
Character: Another place where the glimmer of potential is clear, but not properly fleshed out. Most of the characters have at least some identifiable unique characteristics. But that's pretty much all they get - whatever chapter they get introduced in, the image of them we get there remains their defining image forever. There's isn't much further depth or development to add to that. - blahlingRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5An enjoyable idea is painted here, and while the story starts decently, around the 10th loop, I noticed that the author is not detailing who is talking to whom or what the individuals are doing during most of the conversations. At one point we, the readers, are expected to visualize nothing but blurs of lights and sound but the MC was walking on grass/dirt/ground(?) and even pointed out some nearby plants. The lack of descriptions for most things taking place makes this story more of a Webnovel and not so much of a Light Novel in my books.
At the very least, it's worth a try for this author's take on time loops.
