Description
Ken has always been... different.
Born with a strange disease and the ability to sense souls, he is unable to cope with being around other humans but is content to live out the rest of his short life, in the wilderness.
When a surge of magical energy changes Earth forever and gives him a new lease on life, the shackles of his old life become his wings.
Ken realizes he may not be as different as he thought, just born a bit before his time.
Laws of the Soul follows Ken and a group of new cultivators from Earth, as they get swept up in an interdimensional adventure.

- Gael FerrerRoyal Road★★ 2.0The world building is great but there is a severe lack of things happening.
The characters dont have any emotionaly weighted goals, so everything feels inconsequential. Most of the contento being basicaly anbexcuse forbthe author to do loads of exposition doesnt help in the slightests.
A shame because I really liked the start of the second book and the potential for interesting drama was there. But was completely ignored.
