    The world is awesome.
    The characters are marvelous.
    The grammar great.
I like how it comes off as simple yet there is this complexity to it as you read and know more about the world and characters. I gave it a five star because it’s that good. This is the type novel you have to taste for yourself to know how good it is, so have fun reading 🀺

The story, its development and the characters, in my opinion these are the things that make a great fantasy novel. The author has done his best to establish those components to the best of his abilities, and it shows. You will love the characters; you will love the story building and you will love the story itself.
The few points where this awesome writing can be improved is the grammar and the style of writing (personally I find this style great, but some might not). The grammar could improve but it's not bad in any sense...if you read it, you will enjoy it. Now about the writing style, the author has written it in a very, let's say, mild way. There will be times where you will have to use your imagination.
One more thing that I absolutely love about this novel is that it actually gives you a real picture of the European Nobel Society. The Nobels depicted here aren't just brainless self-serving idiots, but some Nobel characters will actually make you feel awe and respect towards them.
There are a lot of great points, but I would not mention them here, it will get unnecessarily long.Β  What I basically want to say is that this story has a few shortcomings but overall, it's great. If you are looking to read a fantasy novel without LitRpg type tags, and you don't read this, that would be a bad decision.

First review for the work. Here we go.
I am going to talk about the shortcomings of this piece first, and by the overall collective review score would imply, there is plenty to talk about.
The first thing you will notice is that the writing itself is...not traditional. I mean to say that you should not read this if you expect the author to be a wordsmith. The writing is often extremely straightforward and blunt, including character dialog. Honestly sort of an endearing trait, as it is a welcome mix-up to more popular novels. Making the work even passably 'professional' would require an entire rewrite. If this is a problem for you, skip this work. As I said, not a huge problem for me personally.
Grammar: the first few chapters are in such a terrible state as to need a complete rewrite. Editing is more than likely a lost cause. I didn't bother to post edits for the most part because I felt like (trying to) read the work. That said, it has improved by book 2 into simply being bad, rather than borderline unintelligible in parts. Many missing words leads me to believe that rewrites have been done, but editing after that point was often forgotten. It gets better over time, and that is why I feel it deserves something more than just 1 star.
The pacing is typically very good, as the writer is a more off the cuff type who probably does not enjoy writing boring scenes. Still, we do get the odd random paragraph about something totally detached from the ones above and below it. Seems like they were boring scenes that were snipped in the bud and honestly I don't mind.
The story, characters and morals are all well written, if not always well thought out. Still, things are all consistent unless you overthink about what options all of the characters have. Such can be said for the overwhelming amount of even great stories.
I am happy I read the work overall, and I hope the author continues. The piece is novel in many ways. Don't get discouraged.

As many reviewers point out, the author seems allergic to character dialog. So it becomes more of a diary style of story. That said, I give the author credit for not engaging in easy mode for Mc. He has to dance on a knife edge dealing with nobles with their own agenda. Either way, the story is entertaining and has some strong mc agency.

The main character is a responsible person. He doesn't waste time being emo. He has people with which he has cultivated healthy relationships.
Politics are mentioned, but are a lot more straightforward than I expected.
Rather than misdeeds, the main character doesn't do his best to save some women in his new life.
Also, a woman from his past life is what made the main character decide to kill a man in his new life, which is probably what the title is about, despite every single martial arts novel having much more killing intent.
Warning: Still no answer as to what additional blessing was given to the main character.
In conclusion, this is a young adult slice-of-life adventure story. πŸ“š

I feel like I have learned too much about medieval society to be able to enjoy this story. So many things where the author seems to think things work very different than they generally do. From weeks of travel between villages, to nobles thinking it isn't normal to travel around their territory, to a farmer who is the only farmer farming a luxury commodity but still his house is "the bare bottom" to someone who was a solitary hunter until now and definitely had a worse house himself

The first few chapter establish the world, pretty much by telling you the background, and exactly what is happening. There is only a few rare instances where the world is shown instead. Examples are the Mc didn't know he could do this or that, if he had chosen this, x might happen. I literally mean the novel describes action like that, completely breaking the immersionand solidly knocking on the fourth wall. Now the most horrendous and absolutely unforgivable plot hole I've ever seen used to info dump more backstory. THE MC DIDNT KNOW HIS PARENTS' NAMES FOR A YEAR!Β  He wasn't a baby, he could speak their language, the only justifaction is that they call each other Dear and such. This is used to info dump about the parents backgrounds! No just No. Up to this point the novel was mid, maybe the Author could recover, nope not now. Tldr plot holes and showing not telling.
