Lantern Bearer

Everyone knew that the Blight could come.  There wasn't a more universal fear among humans than the encroach of such devestation.  But Winters-Gale-Freezes-Rivers never thought itwouldcome, and never dreamed she would live to fight it.  But a fateful brush with death changes her life irrevocably, and an alliance with an arrogant unicorn only solidifies her fate.

She might not have planned to bear a holy lantern, or ride bravely towards the death she had feared, but with power comes the chance to change the world for the better.
