- Dilbert56Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0The story is a 10/10, a bit of a slow start but once the Mc starts talking with other people it really starts to pick up and I've been reading non stop since then, chapters are also really long so that's another big bonus. I'd strongly reccomend this book if you read other stories like syl. Can't name any other stories like those two right away, having a mind blank, but you get my point
- xXSB101XxRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5The story is fine, but it's pretty much a OP mc with the ability to pretty much make anything. Don't really come in expecting real struggles/stakes if that's what you're looking for. It's a dude essentially making modern/futuristic things with magic, with a romance element to it.
The main issues that can be levied against this fic are the grammar and writing style. There is a substantial amount of grammar issues, at least several every chapter, with some weirder ones that make me wonder if there's a editing program issue involved in it, like the fact the author consistently misuses you're instead of your every time. Perhaps the author has english as a second language? Regardless it's noticable, but not so common as to make the story unbearable to read.
The writing style has two main issues, the first is a tendency to use tons of paragraphs and the second is an overuse of italicized words. The first is thankfully something I think was mostly an issue in the first couple of chapters with paragraphs that made me have to reread several times, but it does continue for a lesser extent for the rest of the story. The second is something that starts maybe over halfway into the current amount of chapters, to the point of almost ridiculous occurence. The author really likes italicizing words, and it can be hit or miss on whether it actually emphasizes the speech, or makes the italics lose their effectiveness.
Overall I give it a 7 at the moment, with the ability to reach a 7.5 if it fixes the grammar issues, and higher if it also dealt with the other two issues as well.

The story is very similar to sexy 'setting' babes stories by BlueFishCake. That made me love the start of it. Especially the whole 'science dude isekaied and uses his knowledge to break the system'.
But even from quite the start, you can feel how easy the dude has it. The first few abilities are not just potentially broken, they start out way too strong for their tier. Then, quite shortly into the story, we get the female love interest. The start is fairly standard and the difference in beliefs and especially ambition are apparent and a very interesting dynamic seems to emerge. Then the author takes that dynamic and yeets it out of existence. Instead of a harsh and hardened veteran both reigning in a more naive partner's ideals and getting held to a higher standard, or be forced to compromise, the protagonist becomes an absolute doormat who gives her everything she wants. Mindfuck slavery? Who cares about morals? Clearly a wage 'slave' is the same. No putting down a foot, no requesting or demanding a compromise. We could SEE the protagonist disdain the practice. And yet he just accepts buying slaves for his household because why not. No thought goes into it. No monologe about how dependent he is and how he should also strengthen himself so that he can request such things as well. For that matter, we see the protagonist create at the beginning a card which allows him more cards in his deck. And never again is it mentioned. Nor do we get what i would presume is the main draw of such stories of breaking the system. He just gets some OP abilities and then fades into the background. Replace him with a robotic dungeon core-like AI or something and you get the exact same situation sans the romance.
The system and the cards are in general not really explored or explained beyond basic things. A cooking skill specifically created to give flavour sucks at low level,
