Left unchecked for centuries, the ruling class known only as Oppidum has been genetically modifying it's elite citizens making god like near-immortals. With death no longer the great reckoner, these societies are crowding out the billions who can't afford the lifestyle, taking more resources that can be produced, and demanding more every day.  A small group of these down-trodden known as the Core seek to bring the Oppidum down. But is societal change as simple as a singular act of violence?
