The author states at the beginning exactly what to expect out of this. And so far, I got exactly what was advertised in an entertaining and captivating story. The pacing is perfect for me, the mc seems pretty well defined and so far, not too much emphasis on bland side characters like other wuxia
Conclusion: fun read and would recommend

I enjoy the writing style and the characters as The story goes on. They flesh out more and you begin to understand what really is happening in this cool world and setting. I really enjoy it.
I am thankful to the author that I may read this story and I strongly suggest it. It has the elements and tropes. I enjoy the most and I'm looking forward to the relationships growing between the characters.

This story is fun and relaxing. If you're looking for a classic xianxia story with secrets, power ups, special advantages, and regular updates, you're in the right place. This isn't a deconstruction or reinvention, or fusion. It's martial arts, training montages, special power ups, and trying to stay under the radar, while also being remarkable. Enjoy a chill read.

The story is interesting and the pacing is largely very good. The characterisation is interesting and the prose is quite different, florid almost, but in a way that enhances the atmosphere rather than being tiring.
There are a lot of somewhat similar minor characters that can be consuming to follow at times. It's easier continuously rather than between chapters though
    Thoroughly enjoyable

Style: The style is good, it's easy to understand what happening. The style is exactly like a translated Chinese novel but that's the authors intent so that's fine.
Story: The concept of the story itself is very good, the whole tower appearing in a murim world that has gods and is connected to other worlds is super interesting. The mysteries involving it are appealing and the floors mc goes through are interesting and fun. The power progression is good too. Unfortunately the rest isn't that good. The story outside the tower is extremely unsatisfying, almost everyone hates the mc and will take any chance they can to pick fights with him. Fights which he only barely wins since he's trying to be lowkey meaning everyone thinks he's just lucky and talk shit about him anyway. Some of the girls are very rude to him and physically and verbally harrass him as well. And all these people who constantly bully mc barley get any karma, some humiliation or a slap maybe but they stick around to harras mc later on. Even the elder have it out for him. All of this is not necessarily bad, it's the authors vision. But as a reader it's very unsatisfying and any victory of the mc doesn't seem like a victory at all. If you can handle this you'll like the story.
Grammar: Grammar is great, I don't remember seeing any errors.
Characters: The characters are quite ehh... The main character is not a hero but he occasionally helps out those he likes. He works hard and tries to stay lowkey. All around the mc is fine, not my favorite type but nothing wrong with him. The other characters are lovestruck girls who love mc or hateful Cliché villians. So any character other than mc is unlikable in my opinion.
Conclusion: Conclusion, the story is well made and the author clearly put a lot of work into it and some aspects are very fun and interesting but unfortunately it just has so many things that suck any enjoyment I got out of it that I decided to drop it. Since I dropped it there is a chance it got b

So far the story seems to follow a typical wuxia style and plot, nothing out of the ordinary, which is fine. There do seem to be some small inconsistencies here and there, as well as some grammar issues and weird phrasing. Overall I've enjoyed this story so far, but this story would benefit a lot from a good proofreader.

A fairly typical cultivation story, with a regressor plot mixed in. Early chapters are good at setting up the plot, and then it just goes...nowhere. lots of prose, little plot, and nearly zero continuity. I am trying to like the story, but it's just a fever dream. Maybe if I took some shrooms, then it would make sense? Dunno. Anyway, I'll keep trying, because despite the glaringly obvious plot holes and total lack of continuity, I like the MC, and genuinely want to see what happens next, even if I have to skip whole chapters to get back to the plot.

I hesitate to write this review because I know a low score early in a story's life can murder it, and that is not my goal. Instead I'm hopeful that this review can instead dissuade those this story is not intended for who would otherwise read the story and give it a .5 star review, which as far as I know is substantially worse than a 2 star. And really my biggest complaint with this story by far is the style it is written in, which for some reason feels like the worst reason to fail something to me.
This story is written to be very "mysterious", which mostly just means it is sparse on the plot details and heavy on the "foreshadowing", given the MC had regressed and lived all this once before. This alone I could be okay with, but it is achieved by heavy use of unspecified pronouns. 'Today is when that happens', 'I must look out for her', 'He should be watching nearby', 'I'll need to make sure to buy those before the next trial', etc.  And I just can't. I've always hated that method of building suspense in stories or shows. Make it too noisy to hear the key part of the sentence or something, anything to avoid the unnatural feeling of people talking like they are middle schoolers trying to make you feel excluded. This is a regression story where despite the protagonist knowing exactly what is going to happen and preparing for it, the audience doesn't know what is coming or how they've prepared until whatever happens, happens. If that doesn't bother you and you are looking for your run of the mill Wuxia regression story, then I say go for it.
As for the actual story, it has your standard misunderstood MC, seemingly weak, but with the important time travel ability to recall everything of possible interest to the minute that ever happened, and ostracized by the majority because he is so undeserving yet attractive to the opposite sex that the only thing that could possibly explain it is some kind of bloodline charm ability (that's 100% me claiming that, story just repeated

The premise is good. But it is full of short chapters, fillers and illogical decisions by the MC.
It was this type of writing that put me off webnovel. Such authors typically uses excessive filler, for example one entire chapter was about girls shouting other boys for being mean to MC.
Some chapters are filled with system screens so less than 10 paragraphs in that chapter.
Finally the MC personality is annoying, his decision  lack common sense and strategy.
    I would avoid.

All the characters, especially the female characters, are very one dimensional. The plots basic, the main character pretty bland. I found myself skimming my way through chapters. Still, if you have nothing else to read, it's entertaining enough. As this is a time travel story where the mc immediately is better off than is other time line counterpart, you'd expect him to breeze through the first couple floors of the tower, at least. But the way the author describes it, it makes it seem like there is flat out no way is younger self could have survived going through the same things, being so much weaker. There was no mention I remember of the floors difficulty matching the people inside or anything similar either. I don't know, I minor nitpick compared to how bland the story is.
