Description
This is the story of a young kobold whose reincarnated soul seeks to understand and adapt to his new reality, a reality that has been terribly difficult for him since the moment he was born. Fortunately, he is not alone, and together with his only littermate, they will search together for the meaning of being considered worthy of their proud lineage.

- hanck95Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I binged the entire series, from beginning to end, right now, "The Past and the Present I - Legacy and Inheritance," as if I were possessed.
While the episodes are short at first, leaving you wanting more because of the limited content... the story then sinks its claws in and doesn't let you go.
To explain something more specific, I'll go in parts (like Jack the Ripper).
Style Score
While the style employs multiple points of view or fragments thereof, Breigon remains the primary narrative point, and the chapters are short. Later, the narrative deepens, making it a pleasant read that doesn't detract from the experience.
Story Score
While the story is "dark," it doesn't leave you with a bitter or depressing feeling. Although the world seems to want to push the characters toward hatred and despair, they cling to the sparks of hope along their path and the dream of a better future, maintaining a balance despite their emotional ups and downs.
Grammar Score
I can't say much, English isn't my native language. But I suppose that compared to the first chapters, I'd say it's improving.
Character Score
Now, that's the strong point of the story, I'd say.
There are stories with flat characters, or characters straight out of a "story factory." But here it's the opposite. The entire cast of characters has a good backstory, character development, personal growth, and some even have abrupt endings that leave you hooked and wondering what the next ominous event will be...
I'd say that every character is well-developed; their personalities, actions, backstories, and endings fit together like a puzzle with all its pieces.
Nothing feels out of place... Well, maybe sometimes Breigon's excessive optimism/naiveté/denial of reality, but it's within reason and can be overlooked; not everyone acts the same way or the way one might expect or to wish.
summary
I have to admit that I was satisfied with its content and now I'm eager to read more chapters.
I've read other stories with characters th
