Knowing Myth: Immortality in Death

Short story for the Jan 2024 Community Magazine contest.

A story about the uncertainty of immortality. A human mage seeks information on his unique condition and on how other nigh immortal beings deal with their own immortality.

Planning the length to be ~10k words, but could push 15K if I get some momentum! Story will be complete once January is over, with the end of the community contest.

While this is set in the same fantasy setting as my other fiction with a similar name. The characters and stories are unique to each other, and so both are stand-alone fictions.
