Description
The Earth met its end, bathed in holy fire. The rifts spill monsters into our world. The Kingdom of Cindrus is the last bastion of humanity; the last vestiges of a broken people clinging to life deep underground.
But not all hope is lost. Erec, like all humans, has been blessed by the goddess. From a line of disgraced nobility, he seeks to reclaim his family’s honor and join the prestigious academy–the institution that trains the next generation of Knights.
With a power that brings him to an uncontrollable Rage, and an old-world AI, Erec seeks to reconquer the world with the remains of human-kind
This is a fantasy/post-apocalyptic portal litrpg, and I hope you enjoy.

- neal.mayneRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Fantastic world building he has set an incredible stage, and he has used that stage well with vibrant characters well built societies, and a magic system that is truly immersive. What he has created is something special and I hope that it will be coming off hiatus sooner rather than later.
- MultiRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0As the title shows this story is an odd combination but it works amazingly, cyberpunk knight is the main theme with Litpg and berserker sprinkled in so far but it seems like they will be taking a bigger roll as the story progresses. The story reads well and the characters and world are interesting and I look forward to the world building
- R.BRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Hi, and welcome to a new episode of Dramatic AF Reviews, which really is the first episode - wow the drama has started already!
Let's start with that adventure right away. Put on your star shaped sunglasses, unfasten your belt and pet the rubber duck: It's gonna be a tough ride.

Grammar & spelling, also known as Do You Hold Your Pen With Your Fingers Or With Your Rear:
Not flawless - unlike my reflection - but damn is it close to it. The author defeinitely knows how to put a word after another and line the words's letters one after another in the right order. Thumbs up dude, I wanna marry your academics now. Will you be my teacher through tests and recesses? Yeah no nevermind i'm taking your pretty handwriting as a yes, hubby.

Character, but not the personnality one. Seriously, buckeroo...
Them characters be like a lunar eclipse: starts by hurting your eyes, but you can't stop your silly eyes away from it. And guess what? Once you put your patience glasses on, you see beauty. They're rock solid, just like how i like my bread.
You can see how the author bothered itself with crafting a soul to each individuals, weaving the thread of personnality, weaknesses and incertitudes into a fabric or romanticized realism. Gee, now i got a tear in my eye. You genius!

Styleness of the black on white.
A river, with fragrant lotuses and a couple of quacky duckies. Simply put, one word after another, it is like following the gracious flow of a river, light and rythmed by the pace of the masterfully crafter pace of the world around it.
Kind of like a flower swayed by the wind, sometimes gentle and loving, other times fierce and mesmerizing. Just don't forget your coats!

The once upon a time to rule them all, or for the least invested, "story".
Yeah, that's where the ride gets bumpy, buckeroos! It starts in what feels like it is rushed - kind of like when i remember it's my lovers birthday and i forgot a gift. Good old times~
You see, the whole adventure is a real work of art, - RedDeathRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Other than some argueably minor choices in language used, this is one to devour.
Solid progress by the council for this one, lets hope the story continues on far more.
I get a similar vibe as 12 miles below here but I find the pacing and angle a bit easier to handle. - SteelsunRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0An enjoyable romp through an impractical post apocalyptic world. But that's what fantasy is all about. I've enjoyed book one and look forward to book two. The story flows well, the main character is well fleshed out, the sub characters less so. Very few continuity errors. Some minor spelling errors, but not distracting.
- The WintererRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I've returned to review the review! This story has been a blast to read, this unique blend of cyberpunk/LitRPG mixed with the apocalypse setting has kept me interested and engaged from the start and I feel that this story needs an advanced review for it.
Style:
The style of writing is solid, it allows for all of the information needed to be conveyed while only missing very minor details which could be further expounded upon. Very little to complain about here.
Story:
The story is fanstastic and I have thoroughly enjoyed it so far. The way the world building is accomplished while seeming relevant and not taking away from the pacing is very satisfying to read. The world itself is unique, and supports the story in a way which isn't usually seen on RR.
Grammar:
Not much to say for this one. Very nice to read with nearly no mistakes at a surface level. Any which are pointed out are fixed by the author (who is a very cool dude) asap.
Character:
Personally my favourite parts about Zach's stories in general is how human the characters feel, the each have their own motivation, morals, past, and goals. Side characters don't feel like place holders or cardboard cutouts, they feel like their own people, and their personalities and their impact are incorporated into the story rather than compromised for 'plot development'. And sure, this means that some characters I'm not going to totally like, but I support this style of character writing because it views the characters in the story as people rather than characters.
So overall, fanstastic story. 5/5 for me and I'm going to be reading this until it ends. Hopefully not anytime soon lol. Give it a shot! I think you'll like it ;) - Toons10Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I would definitely recommend this series to anyone I to the gamelit genre. The world building while Interesting promises so much more to come. The characters are fleshed out and I seem to be really invested in the MC.
I binge read up to chapter 64 in 2 days and I regret nothing.
Eagerly awaiting new chapters for sure. - 1Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Knights Apocalyptica delivers an action-packed progression fantasy, replete with grand worldbuilding, and an ambitious overarching goal; humanity taking back the world that was once theirs. Characters are vividly lifelike, and their interactions through dialogue are dynamic and add depth to the narrative. There are few technical errors, and the formatting is unobtrusive, specifically the LitRPG aspects. Amazing introduction to the story, I look forward to more!
- BoomershunRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0For reference I went through all 105 chapters in a week. This is one of the most promising novels on this site so far.
For style, The atmosphere of this novel is dripping with character. It takes inspiration from many different pieces of media and blends them well. For goddess sake, exosuit knights with giant blades fighting in hellscape. SIGN ME UP.
Regarding the story, Only the first book of this novel have been released as of now. And frankly I don't have any complains of how it progressed. There is foreshadowing from chapter 10 that is relevant all the way through to chapter 80. My personal favorite is how the author has quotes or excerpts before some chapters to give depth to the world he has created.
For grammar I have only found three instances of improper grammar throughout all 105 released chapters so full marks there.
Lastly characters is what I find to be the strongest. Goddess above the author can create characters you absolutely hate but you slowly see their good points and learn to enjoy them. And that's just the side characters along for the wild ride. The mc is highlight though. He is in an almost constant state of self conflict throughout the novel for good reason.
Honestly give it a try, you won't regret it. - ChilliterateRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Been reading this story for a long time and it’s always been a favorite of mine. The world building really captures what first sparked my love of post-apocalypse stories back when I played fallout 2 as a kid but the setting is so distinct and creative and the Arthurian references in the character building are all so smart that it has a truly unique feel as a work. I’d easily recommend this to anyone who enjoys adventure stories.
