Roselyn Atwood is an infamous demon hunter--well, shewasuntil she was imprisoned for a crime she didn't do. Now she is only known as the prisoner rotting in the Gray Dungeon for killing the king.

Julien Greymark is the crown prince of Westwiel. But he doesn't want to be. He'd much rather be alone.

When the king of Westwiel is murdered, Julien is forced to take over his father's place. He is arranged to marry a demon princess that terrifies him and step in line as king.

However, instead of doing what he's expected to, Julien does the opposite. He makes a deal with Roselyn Atwood and flees from the kingdom.
