King. (Excerpt.)

Set in a fantasy land known as the Fractured Realms, King is about a bottom feeding village of Vultures - battlefield scavengers who sell what they find - after they find what was initially thought to be a corpse, but turned out to be a live man who awoke as they tried to relieve him of his belongings. Seeing the value in selling a slave, they decide to bring him back to their village. Things, however, don't go as initially planned, and so the shared fate of the village and soldier begins.
