Description

On HIATUS. I'm rewriting this story. It'll come back later this year for a relaunch.

This is a world where the Walkers roam, considered by many to be fallen gods, immortal creatures that appear without warning. These enigmatic creatures take on various forms, sizes, and colors, resembling colossal wanderers with no apparent destination, moving relentlessly forward never straying from their path. Though harmless and devoid of any ill intentions, their presence alone can bring about stunning transformations or utter destruction. In barren deserts, their footsteps birth vibrant flowers and revive life itself. However, the Walkers themselves are trapped in a perpetual cycle, akin to mindless zombies, forever marching onward without rest. In vibrant cities, they will trample on the buildings, killing millions of innocents on their path.

Enter Lumi, an adventurer of extraordinary strength, boasting an S-rank status, and also one of the rare few capable of slaying a Walker. This is her story of how she embarks on a quest for either inner peace or vengeance, as she navigates through a world shaped by these mysterious Gods. Will she uncover the secrets behind their existence? Will she find solace amid the chaos? Join Lumi on her gripping journey and discover the answers that lie within.

    Wow!
Once again Lucien shows his talent in this new short story. I read Keres, his first saga of novels but this is different. He can expands his vision and world for create a new line. The suspense and intrigue are in every paragraph. I've noticed a focus for the relationship between wards and mentors in this novel and also in Keres. Might be the duality and strong character finding a common point. What I love of this story is the description of the universe, those details open your mind and introduce you in a fantasy word that have many literary influence but keeps and esence that only Lucien can catch!
I'm excited for read more about this short story. Keep writting Lucien!
