Description

Sonia wants to become a football player after watching the national team win the AFC Asian Cup. She pursues her dream, hoping to one day reach the same heights. Of course, not every wish can be granted easily. Even though she lost her best chance to become a professional, she’s not discouraged her.

Instead, she is determined to restore her school’s football club reputation and bring them to the nationals! But will she be able to reach for her dream with a team far from her expectations?

    The opening two chapters here suggest that this might be a WLW-type fiction with a focus more on the relationship instead of football itself. The cover also gives a rather charged vibe of a romance focus as well. The prose is fairly standard and it takes a light novel approach to characterization. I do like it and yet at the same time it is not really presenting itself as intended and leans into this WLW plot where the football hook should be.
