I found this app and this author from their tiktok..... I'm reading two of their books at the same time both are amazing. I love the character building and the storytelling the author uses... everytime I finish a chapter I want to go to the next immediately I just wish I could get actual paperback copies of these books I would read them over and over again

Nick has had a rough go of things but hasn't let it wear down his desire to do good in the world, especially among those that most need it. Unfortunately, things took a dark turn for him but a new chance at life in a new world under the employ of Karma herself will take him in directions he never imagined possible.
The story borrows from some well worn tropes in terms of isekai setups with a character living an favorable life and going out in an unfavorable way, meeting a deity of sorts, and granted an ability/cheat before being inserted into a fantasy setting. The new world also includes video game interfaces and character creations without getting too deep into the mechanics of things. The story sets itself apart by showing us much more of Nicholas's life before getting isekai'd and allowing us to get to know him and his personality on a deeper level while most others will only have the bare minimum in a rush to get to the OP In The New World story they really want to tell.
The main character, Nicholas, is a likable guy and it's easy to sympathize with his actions (for me at least). I did find a few instances where I had to reread one or two things in the beginning as the "word flow" felt a bit off but they were minor quibbles. Overall, I look forward to seeing how Nick will handle his new duties and just what, exactly, those duties will require of him.
