- Reverend-JPRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0At the time of reading there is only a few chapters. Despite this, I'm posting a review because I think it is fantastic.
The characters are wonderful, with each one feeling unique and having unique interactions with the main character.
The story is great, getting you hooked from chapter 1 with questions and intrigue. The setting of Mega City, while certainty has been done before (Corrupt cyberpunk city) Is done well and the author does a good job at making it believable that the three sectors of the city exist.
Prose and writing style is the perfect blend of simple and flowery. Gets to the point, doesn't drag, but has a good sense on when to ramble and when not to ramble. The main character, Jacob, is relatable and believable. Personally my fav character
Only negative is that it is slower paced, and so far the story hasn't gotten into any action yet. If you like a slow burn, funny, and interesting cyberpunk/sci-fi story, I think you'll like this!
