Description
Joshua is your average American catholic school student who recently received a computer from his parents. As a way to express himself, he's started a digital diary on his computer, allowing us a look into his private life. This diary allows us to see the world through his perspective, whether its his interactions with other students and friends or remnants of nightmares. Trigger warnings FOR: Religious Trauma and pre-2010 bigotry. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Animatic I made for the story - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KOwKWDgxOd0&t=16s

The style is lovely with its journal entry presentation. The day by day entries remind me of how dracula is written. Very unique!
The story has hooked me with the undercurrent of something is wrong with Joshua. The way he acts, why he acts the way he does it lends the story a ominous feeling. How everything is very normal until it gets to Joshua talking about his urges and he is very much aware of how weird they are. I want to see more of that (I have a soft spot in my heart for fucked up shit).
Speaking of Joshua he's a fucked up little guy and the way he views things is entertaining to see from his pov. How he sees friendships and relationships as something to benefit him and how he keeps a balance between what he wants and what he wants to be viewed as. He's selfish but not in a way that is out of the realm of ordinary y'know. He's a guy looking out for his own best interests.
Not too much to say about the grammar. I don't see any glaring mistakes that pull me out of the story. But I'm not exactly the best at grammar so it gets a thumbs up from me.
