Description

The brain tumour was slowly killing him. For James, his only hope for survival lay beneath the surgeon’s knife. On the operating table, he counted down from ten and waited for what might be the end…

When he awakes, he finds himself in another world poised on the brink of catastrophe. With the age of the magician long since dead, a supernatural force threatens to engulf the land and enslave its people. With the help of a local Lord’s feisty daughter, Leander, James must brave the forests of the Gelding in search of the only man who holds the key to their salvation.

It is no longer only his life in the balance, but the fate of an entire world.

Can't believe it's not on trending yet. Basically a diamond hidden in a flood of shit, this story is awesome.
Super fleshed out main character, and a story to go along with the side characters.
The grammar is on top without any flaws, as far as my mediocre english is concerned.
Give it a read and you'll be surprised :)

This book is amazing! It really captures the fantasy genre and makes you feel as though you are on James' journey with him. The artwork is stunning...you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover but it's eye catching and helps the reader look inside the authors mind. The story has brilliant detail and imagination... I can't wait to read the second book. Highly recommended!

I read the beginning and now came back after a 2 months.
This, while not really my kind of genre, has successfully made me read it. The grammar is superb; the characterisation is good.
But what really caught my attention was the writing style. The book can make you imagine that you're in it. While it might not necessarily catch the reader's attention, it's simply good.
Frankly, I'm not saying anything about the story because I want others to experience it themselves, not to read a bad review and just get good stuff spoiled.
