- DrThomasStockmannRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I have really enjoyed reading this book and quickly grew to enjoy the cast of characters. I'm a huge Star Trek fan and enjoy scifi with social commentary, and the author has a great way of weaving moral questions into the world building and dialogue. It was interesting to me how mech-human relations and workers rights were imagined in the book; that aspect made the story stand out from other scifi stories I have read.
I also appreciated the style of humour - I genuinely laughed at some of the character interactions. The dialogue always flowed well and didn't seem forced.
I believe that people who enjoy Star Trek or The Expanse would like this story.
