One Thousand years ago, as the old empire fell into ruin, the Church of the nameless God of Light and Mercy rose to prominence by pulling the continent of Mirno out of the darkness left in the wake of its collapse. Now, Abbot, the son of one of the saint's who originally spread the church, and bearing the memories of a young man from another world, goes forth from his home on a new adventure. He dreams of someday being a hero, but he'll have to get over the fact that he can't swing a sword to save his life first. Along the way, he will encounter new allies and old foes in a world of war and monsters, where forces of both light and darkness are soon to clash.(Participant in the Royal Road Writathon Challenge)

I fear for the safety of the maidens of this world, for our boy Abbot might just lay his hands on them. Though, he seems to be an upright sort, and is keeping proper company. Might he be too pious? Nonsense. One can never be too much of a good thing. Do not believe those falsehoods about drinking too much water bringing you to an early grave. That's a lot of water. Nevertheless, I'm quite enjoying the character interaction of the little party we have going here. Healthy banter is the spice of life. I look forward to where our heroes might go, lead by our charismatic priest. Though, Abbot would do good to be wary of any sultry maidens that might whisper in his ear:

The author has a clear vision for their story and executes it quite well. Main character feels fleshed out and is very likable. Grammatically, there are a few passages that feel slightly awkward, but still concise enough to get the author's point across. Overall, it's a very enjoyable story so far.

But, this is some real quality work here. I can't really go into the nitty gritty of it, being only 100 pages long as of writing this, but this story gives off a genuine character that You're hardpressed to find in many other novels these days.
Shame about the name though...

Despite being about as generic as a fantasy world gets in terms of worldbuilding and plot, this story drags you in primarily by it's main character, Abbot. Playing every trope and character archetype straight is actually somehow refreshing amid all the constant "twists" of the Genre that do little to add to their actual originality. The constant update rate also means that readers won't have to wait long for the story to continue, and as a whole the pacing compliments that update rate. The only issues that stand out to me are grammatical, and I would encourage the author to run his chapters through a grammar checking program or get them read by someone else before publishing.
Overall, this is a clean, simple story, with an engaging Protaganist and quality writing!

There is a severe lack of sluts. My disappointment is immeasurable.
Jokes aside, healer-type characters are often overlooked, and very rarely the main characters. And when they are, the healing part is an afterthought at best.
This time, the author has hit the nail on the head with a healer character, and especially the process of healing. He isn't just an adept healing magic user that treks around towns snapping his fingers and curing everyone in sight.
It's a bit early to leave a review two chapters in, so take these stars as a representation of my hopes and dreams.

My hopes and dreams are still very much alive. But I did find my expectations far surpassed. The story is shaping up really well, to what will be a wholesome adventure of a healer and his party, that will keep you on your toes.
Alas, there are still ZERO sluts. None, zip, nada. Dammit.
Welp. The story got renamed, and this review seems like the most confusing and contradictory review ever written. Too bad. The content is still great though!

This is the story of a young healer cleric who decides to seek adventure after his mentor dies. He's a genuinely good and caring person and a true believer. Thus far (as of chapter 5) he's still growing his party (got a warrior and thief so far). There has been some healing, but no slutty behavior, or even usage of the word "slut" so far.
I really don't understand where the title comes from. It conjures up images of a harem story with scantily clad priestess of orgies. (Not that there's anything wrong with that) Instead you have a very sweet and (for lack of a better word) wholesome story about friendship and adventures. It's great, you should read it.

Hey, where the sluts at? I seriously came to this fiction for some hot scenes... and now its name has been changed. :( I mean how can a story with a healer as an MC be great? But when I read the first chapter, I was slapped to the realization that good writers can make anything interesting.
The story... well although it lacks a proper direction, it is more or less interesting and engaging. (weird how the author does that)
The style of first-person narration is absolutely fabulous. I fircking love it, I have read plenty of books which have messed up FP but healslut is not one of them.
The characters are built magnificently and I totally love our MC, that person is great. (I really want to pat that guy's head and say 'GOOD BOY!')
I would say if you are not reading Healslut (It is going to remain healslut for me forever) you are missing out on something great.

I really like this story. for the most part, the story is really good. The characters are fleshed out and and have some depth to them. The plot, or lack of, is the type I like. It doesn't have any grand goals like defeating the demon lord, instead it is a whimsical adventure.
One of the things that is detracting from the is story is grammar. Ill used words are the most common issue, and it stops the follow of the story. It makes me stop and try to think of what he actually meant.
