Our fictional story (within a fictional story) begins right after Meng Hao awakened from his near-fatal breakthrough in the Violet Sea, and once rising from his long slumber, successfully gaining the power of his 7th Anima.

This is the untold chapter of Meng Hao’s near death clash against a new face of an old enemy, ending with him acquiring a life-changing enlightenment with his own Dao through a sudden opportunity of temporarily reaching the Spirit Severing realm… but only with the assistance of someone he least expected.

(this is set just before that dumbass son of Patriarch Huyan came along to push Meng Hao’s buttons, courting his own death)

    To perfectly capture the feelings that ISSTH conveys in your piece of writing is truly fantastic. Never would have thought someone could get that close to the quality of writing that Er Gen displays. Without a doubt the best fan-fiction I've read and defo the winner.

    Well not exactly like ISSTH, but I guess the quality of your work is nearly there? (and that says a lot given Er Gen’s talent in writing)
    Honestly I’m not really a fan of fanfics that are too shallow just because they want to sound amusing. This one however, unlike the usual parody,  was totally different.
    I loved how creative this arc was, and the significance of the things mentioned here. It felt that it could be part of the actual story and will even add on to the existing compelxity of the ISSTH plot. Good job!
