Overall: 4.5/5 It made me empathize with an antagonist/villain that nobody really likes and it does so in an incredibly moving manner. Wonderfully written but I should point out that it's not written in Ergen's style but in the author's own which, in my opinion, is the entire point of a fanfic. The imagery and symbolism is impeccable and the pacing is brilliant.
Style: 4.5/5 Amazing. Just wish it were longer and that the change in POVs were a little smoother in the middle but otherwise, the narrative voice is fantastic.
Story: 4.5/5 also amazing because it's thought provoking. What do the villains in xianxia think? They have their own circumstances, their own reasons for doing whatever it is that the MC ends up killing/raping/sealing them for and this is the kind of depth that villains deserve to have.
Grammar 4.5/5 Nearly perfect, no major flaws (but it's just a oneshot so typos are obviously rare)
Character 5/5 Loved them. Ji Nineteen's flawed personality, his thoughts and his emotions were amazing to read and the side characters were easily relatable and a little saddening so good job
Conclusion: Great read for any ISSTH lovers especially those looking for an insight into the minds of the villains. Plus, it's a profound story rich with emotions and a good read. Hope you write an original fic in the future, I'd love to read it! Favorited, rec'd and WC approved ^_^
