Picture this: You're a doctor. A hardworking, passionate doctor. You put your entire heart into your job, but unfortunately, your job is determined to kill as many children and patients and force you to watch.
Your latest patient, however, has been whisked away to a land of magic and fantasy, unbeknownst to you, and suffering from the big sads, you go on the rooftop to release some tension, asking why life is so unfair, and why it couldn't have been you who died.
Then suddenly, bam! A spirit steals the moment and throws you off the building too, thus delivering one of the few direct transmigration kills and severing truck-kun from their job.
Unless the spirit is some kind of weird magical truck race that kidnaps people by killing them.
    Ahem.
Anyway, Isekai Twins is a happy story about a former patient and doctor who enter a magic world as children. The doctor, filled with passionate and curiosity, and the patient, infused with good nature and cheer, make for interesting contrasts with their the sudden shift in their relationship.
It also shows how much suddenly being turned back into a baby will jack up your mind. Indeed, it even has applications toward torture...
Style is clean, concise, and direct. If delivers what it's trying to pitch and the story won't veer off in too many weird directions. I would say some parts could use more style and flourish but preferences are preferences and not an objective negative.
Grammar wise I didn't stop very many obvious problems at all, which means its a-okay for the reading experience.
Story: There is an unfortunate lack of killing so far, but the slice of life aspect is being delivered. They are learning the magic, learning to be a family, examining the strings from their prior life. The most interesting aspect is how the twins interact with the world and indeed each other considering they had history even before their "unfortunate" deaths. It is developing at a reasonable pace as they have gotten past 8 years in age so we don

I am loving this book. I see that it has gone on hiatus and am waiting eagerly for it to return. One of those rare books that can bring the heartache of longing for what was together with Joy for the now and hope for the future. I have to write more words now it seems. Please come back to this story!

I have loved the perspective of twin protagonists, the relationship of past doctor patient to brother and sister I think has been given appropriate weight and added a depth and connection to them. I cannot wait to see how the twins relationship develops and how their past lives propel them in this one

The story is very well written and overall entertaining, it is still very sad to see that truck kun is missing an important part. I hope that the story gets more attention, thus it will grow and allow the writer motivation to continue making the story and not having to scrap it if it won’t succeed well enough.

Stumbled upon this story as a recommendation from RR. Its been great so far. The characters and plot all seem nice and interesting. Definitely a story to break up the dark fantasy and violence stories that have been on my list recently.
Truthfully this is the first Isekai with more than one traveler that Ive read, and boy is it a change! A doctor with a heart of gold, a sick patient with nothing but hope to live a normal life. Its really touching for these two to get a new start with a chance at some positivity. Also, the Mom character is a total momma bear, lookout evil doers!

Promising start to this. Looks to be short chapters so if you like to binge, you'll probably need to let 10 chapters or so build up at a time.
Synopsis based on the first two chapters:
Dr. Ryan Kimura, a bright young surgical-oncologist, has just completed surgery on a young orphan Sophie who has been struggling with cancer. Despite his best efforts, Sophie takes a deal with an Angel, to no longer be in pain. Distraught, Dr. Kimura rages against the heavens when the agent of the system throws him off of the hospital roof.
Now, reborn as twins, they will make their way through Alecdoria's realms on a grand adventure.

I really love the story and it's setting.
The dual perspective of two lead Charakters makes everything more vibrant.
The absolute only critique I have about the story is that sometimes you read a chapter and then the next 2-3 chapters are timewise before that one. Not unusual with dual perspective you say but no it's not because of that it's just that the same chapter would have made more sense if placed a few chapters later. E.g. chapter 11 would make a great chapter 13.5
Maybe I am overly critical about that but it's really the only thing I could find that was out of order in the series so far

A doctor reborn in a new world with his young patient as his now twin.
Not A bad start - we have what I expect will be a pacifist hero. I will be interested if this mindset remains as the character gets older and also if it is just geared towards humans.
The main thing that would improve the story is longer or more frequent chapters.

    Hmmmmm....
Honestly, the story is good. Considerably good when compared to all the fairly recent stories on this site. It has sufficient depth and plot to draw you in.
Plot-wise, its pretty solid. Minor trips and bumps here and there, but that can be overlooked. Future developments or directions where the story is going leaves you hanging but it's fine.
Story is interesting and engaging, although there are frankly moments where your immersion just breaks. Those moments when you simply go 'what just happened?' I decided to overlook it and go on.
Immersion and Realism is fairly alright. Its still the early chapters and there are more opportunities to give the world more depth and let us readers become more immersed. Can't do anuthing about it as of yet.
Characters are good. Fairly constructed and descriptive enough to give us a distinctive personality and overall identity. Then again, it could be explored further on the following chapters. This is a pretty early review, mind you.
Overall, this novel is fairly solid and good. Not great, but it can potentially improve as the story goes further. Its still early, after all.
As for now, I advice readers to give this a chance. Let the story develop more. Stock up chapters before you binge it so you won't feel upset by the cliffhangers. The plot is promising so far, at least for me, and it has managed to make me read it until the latest chapter.
