-I like how the story throws us right into the action, but
it might also be worth considering having us spend a bit of
time in the MC's original world. That way the story can more
effectively highlight the dramatic change from one kind of
    life to the next.
Ok, I read the next chapter and you
jumped back a bit to flesh out your character, nice job, disregard
    the above paragraph, lol.
-Blinking loosely, I realized this was not Texas. I found the
line really funny, but maybe use another word besides loosely,
feels like a bit of an odd expression.
-Just a note, you jump between past and present tense a few
times, I'd read your chapters aloud with either friends or
family, make sure you lock down your preferred tense.
-I like how you're setting up Leon, seems like a shy dude
who just wants to fit in. I'm not sure if this was intentional,
but it's ironic the guy was sent to an unfamiliar, new school,
and now he's in an unfamiliar, new world.
-I'd give the dialogue and scene descriptors another pass,
there are quite a few grammatical errors, but more importantly,
the way the characters are speaking could be improved, they
sound a little stiff and unnatural.
-I like Leon as a character, but what exactly does he want/is
trying to accomplish? I know he wants to fit in and be
included, but what's the guy's goal in life, and how is being
sent to another world going to either help achieve or hinder
    that?
-How did Leon get sent to another world? I know some stories
just like to handwave the journey, but you've gone through
all this trouble of setting up the book series is reading,
does this have something to do with it? Are you able to imply
some kind of magic at work?
-I don't know about you, but if I'd suddenly grown a tail,
I'd have a much stronger reaction than Leon did.
-I like the concept of being born again as a useless side
character. Your story could go in lots of interesting
directions. Keep up the great work!
