Is it okay for a underachiever to get a second chance in another world

A underachiever that's hated by his family gets killed and I bet you can't guess what will happen. He gets reincarnated in another world. He gets the cliched overpowered skills and everything, but is it okay for a person who was a underachiever in there past life to get a second chance?
