Description
Malak Elsan always thought he was ordinary. Along with his twin, he was raised by his loving parents and attended school with his friends. But when he turned eighteen, he crossed a man he had never met; yet a man who felt familiar. With danger approaching and memories regained, Malak will once again have to fighta thousand-year-old waralongside his beloved, in a world filled with bizarre creatures and magic.
The story starts slowly and may seem plain, but I promise it'll get more interesting over time. The action, fantasy, and magic will be at the rendezvous!

- B O R BRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is a good story for those that want a slow progression that picks up pace over time. I am unsure on if the story will continue for it is on HITUS right when I am reviewing it. I do hope it does continue for it has potential to be one of my favorites on RR.
- BellwetherRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0A story with a heavy emphasis on a dream world. With the current description I expected grimmer tones to the story but it was unexpectedly on a lighthearted side. At the very least, in the beginning.
The writing style is reasonably concise. There are some grammatic errors but nothing that couldn't be remedied with a bit of editing.
The premise of the story is good for making various twists and turns. While the general direction of the plot is implied, author might give us yet another surprise.
I wish the author inspiration and eventful stay on royalroad! - HoofHeartedRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I enjoyed reading this story. As a welcome rarity on RR, there was much more of an emphasis on character building than worldbuilding. The author wasn't trying to do too much with the world they were creating, allowing the more personal elements to shine.
Style
As a whole, the style was solid and consistent. I enjoyed that the third person perspective kept close to the main character. The story remained kenetic throughout, not getting too bogged down anywhere. By the same token, the events of the story felt rushed at times. There were only a few instances, but the story could have used a little bit of room to breathe.
Grammar
Probably the weakest element. Needs more polish. Tense changes were a persistent problem. A little bit of time commited to smoothing out the tenses would do wonders for the story as a whole.
Story
Engaging story. Small stakes were a huge part of the charm. I'm so used to seeing enormous responsibilities heaped on main characters, with the world often hanging in the balance. It was really nice to get stakes that were entirely dependent on the internal lives of the characters (at least so far). With a start like this, it feels like even when the scope inevitably exapnds outward, the story investment will be so well establlished through the characters, that it won't feel needlessly dramatic.
Characters
As mentioned before. The story is all about the character work. The author clearly cares about these characters, which makes it much easier for a reader to invest in them. - NatarajaRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Fantastic story revolving around boy love. Not for everyone. There are original ideas (demons and the dream world) which will surely pleased people who are into that genre.
- Style & Grammar
This is well written, no grammar nor syntaxe issues. The layout is good which makes the text pleasant to read. Some sentences would be better if shorter thought, and dialogues need to be more interesting. English is not my native language, so I may have missed some things...
- Story
The world building is very interesting. A demon world with a demon king and his soon to be husband. That's crazy! I'm not into BL but at very least it gives a cultural vision of this society. It's a pity that we leave this world so quickly, the real world is deeply boring in comparison, we have the impression that nothing happens there. These parts in the real world could easily be reduced by half.
- Character
The introduction of the characters in the differents chapters is done via scenes and dialogues that have no interest for the story nor for the psychology of the characters. It would have been more interesting if their emotions or goals in life had been more emphasized. - woseRoyal Road★★★ 3.0A technically competent story that eases you into its world, Intertwined Destinies obviously has plenty of potential, but the author like to take time to get there.
An excellent slie of life drama with the promise of fantasy elements, highly recommended to anyone who is into this type of story. Unfortunately, the slow burn took me out of the story but that is not indicative of a lack of quality by any means.
